Also, adoptive love in stories gives more emotional high. It is not easy to do in real life...hence adoptive, foster parents earn more respect naturally. We have seen the stories from Krishna-yashoda to Baahubali-Shivagami how it over powers blood relations. .

I wish they will WW DK also in the end, and show him like Neetu only. That will be one consolation.

@bold - This is entirely their fault. They refer to their shows as their babies. Mannat is their middle child; just chugging along on its own. They never really worked on the show once the show moved to 7:30 and became slot leader. I don't mean working hard, everyone works hard. Not enough thought has gone into some tracks.

Except that Krishna goes to Dwarka during his adolescene and never returns to Vrindavan. Duty calls. In south stories, we see him meeting Yashoda after all his 8 weddings. We have story related to that. Yashoda complains that she didnt get the sukh of arranging her son's wedding. So He gives her the boon that when he incarnates as Lord Balaji, Yashoda will become Maa Vakula Devi who will arrange his marriage.

I was not aware....

I was referring to the story told by Malla where DK is the one who should be relieved Dua wont go back.

Well you have to have a certain level of altruism and emotional strength to adopt a kid and love as your own... not many can do that ❤️

Ya, its their fault.

There has to be some responsibility.

Post Vikram Naaz left, the story telling fell apart. That was the last time we got Ratnagiri scenes. Those were tastefully done.

Then came Sohail, somehow got habituated but the plots in between went haywire. Malla Vik marriage onwards the plot has not been consistent.

Vik pacifying Dua was the only good thing about the episode. Dua is too young and obviously she cant be forced to like someone or something instantly. Vik understands that and he genuinely believes DK has right on Dua ❤️. Will wait for Duas acceptance. Its also good that Dau accepts Vik as bio father.

Vik DK convo was drab. Didnt invoke the emotions it was supposed to do. Probably because we know whats coming but personally I felt Adnan wasnt convinced. It doesnt usually happen with him but today he was not upto his mark.

Either they filmed hastily or the flip isnt making sense to these guys.

Mannat on the contrary was little better. I liked that she finally took a stance. That she loves Vik but DK is important too and she will make sure to bring back DK if he leaves.

Everyone has repeatedly assured him that he is the father and sole decision maker for Dua. So if he takes some decision for her... it would be justified by him as taken for Duas well being. At this point he is same as Neetu. Blind for their kid and justifying the means to achieve desirable end.

I noticed this and do you feel this is because of their unstable relationship dynamics? somewhere down the line, their class difference plays the role subconsiously? I'm not saying Vikrant never made her feel as an equal but one thing we all can agree in ManVik's relationship, power imbalance has always been one of the reasons of their conflicts. Mannat is quite a secure and confident girl but she does feel inferior many times infront of Vikrant when it comes to status. Even the girls infront of her have come across greater in status, be it Malla or now Yashika( we know she is fake, Mannat doesn't) On the other hand, DK being same as her, coming from middle class background and being same like that for 7 years gives her that confidence?

It could be simply be to highlight her and DKs bond and how comfortable she feels around him.

But more than that I feel its the assurance from Vik that she has now. It was also subtly hinted in the chunari scene yesterday. Mannat wasnt the one to fall for symbolisms... but she is since Viks accident. She is now clutching on whatever that gives her hope that its going to work out with Vik.

She has never seen him stand up for her like this and she often used to be on receiving end of his wrath. That can make anyone wary to express themselves. She was constantly judged by others in reference to her relationship with Vik.

None of which was present in Mannat DK equation. They were and in her mind are equals, friends so she can say whatever she wants.

You aren't making up Scar, Mukta indeed replied the same to another ID, that me being an adoptive parent, we do understand better how adoptive parents status is in kid's life, how kids love and honour them etc. Nice thoughts by Mukta genuinely and she is an incredible mother no doubt, but I guess this came up when some had issues that leave Vikrant, Dua isn't enough bothered about her biological mother as well, she could've gone by Dua Mannat Khanna.

I got to know this convo by that id and from that only I feel DK will be whitewashed same as Neetu as an adoptive parent. Just like how Vikrant didn't accept Aman Kumar name, they might show Dua sticking to Dua Dhairya Kumar for quite a some time.

If Dhairya has gone bad, will they will end his character by giving Dua (the girl) and Dua (blessing) to the couple? I personally think his role has ended. anything after this big track is just an add-on.

But haa "tum maa beti ek din mujhe marwaogey." This probably won't age well
