Now almost two months left for vvan, it's cbfc certificate decide fate of film
If SM films choices not improved he will be flop forever, Alia and varun have good script choice selections, he doesn't need to do family dramas, army or rom com, he just need an A certificate non family audience film, to revive his career, even Ranveer Singh though except for RARKPK have been going through a flop streak phase post corona, and if you notice all of them were family dramas or rom com, but A certificate Dhurandhar make him reach new stardom, and revived Akshaye Khanna stardom too, if SM choice not improved he will be a flop star
The way you insist on an A-rated movie it seems that he isn't 'manly' enough for the Indian audience... is t h a t the problem (as the Indian cinema going audience still is a predominent male one)?
Looking at the way, the very successful male protagonists in the current decade are portrayed, blood and violence indeed play a prominent role.
According to an article about the success of Dhurandhar in January (published by The Times Of India):
"Indian cinema’s relationship with anger, power and masculinity tells a story that is as political as it is cinematic."
So, one can say that - in a certain way - the 2020ies seem to long for what Hindi (Indian) Cinema characterized 50 years ago, in the 1970ies. Then, it most probably was a reaction to a socio-political climate which was characterized by inflation, corruption and high unemployment.
What may it be now? And what kind of subject should Sid's movie have???

Blood and violence (not mellowed down enough to get U/A) like marjavaan and ek villian of course, something like Sandeep vanga Reddy style, and dialogues not suitable for children, of course not romancing a female lead with disability problem (marjavaan, mission majnu), also army movies and family audience film don't think suitable for him anymore, his films keep flopping if he do that!
future will show
