A change was obvious... and maybe also why exactly this man was made the CM... he seemingly has become a sycophant of BJP. Although I'm not suprised about the whole outcome, I find it v e r y questionable that Samik didn't get the very much earned position of the new CM.

Well, I would wonder if the contrary of BJP-celebration would get shown. Still (even with millions of voters getting eliminated out of the registers) this were the voting percentages for both the parties:

• BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party): 45.84%
• TMC (All India Trinamool Congress): 40.80%

So, nobody can tell me that "entire Bengal" celebrated the BJP win. If it not had been for who is winning in the respective election districts, BJP wouldn't have a sure win... but well, one can win a lot with offering the 'right' enticement...

Some members are known for not tolerating anything that would show the contrary of what they propagate, not even refraining from attacking other-thinking members and even demeaning the India Forums as whole and accusing it of a 'false' attitude because allowing members who don't follow the same mindset then they display.

T h a t is the democracy they vote for. Actually, I wonder why they even write in a forum they hate and want to get closed/eliminated... that seems quite hypocrite to me.

i have negative level hope from any party or ministers. especially west bengal we have seen the circus twice. i can only hope that less people dies, people get access to central benefits, their lives stay ok. thats it

edited to add, this thread and 1-2 folks is very pro bjp. great for the party i guess, bt driving away people who actually want to discuss is so odd. bjp won, tmc lost. discussing wont change the govt. whats the harm in discussing and actually being stoic in th sense that bjp would be as normal as past parties, and that things may not change much

Yes, political differences are fine as long as one doesn't expose themselves as agents of a terror outfit and proceed to insult members based on their regional identity because they know they've been outed. It says a lot about the ruined state of IF that such members are allowed to roam about freely.

yesterday in some news saw apparently agnimitra was also in cm race. i hope she knew she was in race

i think everyone knew subhendu would be cm. this is no surprise and there was no strong 2nd name.
