AFAIK, Uzair was definitely linked with Kulbhushan when the latter was sentenced but that wasn't established and he not actually convicted for spying for India, rather he was established regarding spying for Iran and other local crimes. I might be wrong if you know...
Regarding the other parts, I am not saying anything else just that the relation of Uzair and Hamza as they developed was such that this huge backstabbing on Uzair to the level that not just he is jailed for life but actually in constant fear once he is out made me uncomfortable. Maybe that was intentional but Uzair never came out as the villian in the movie you could hate but rather a simpleton in crime world. hence that betrayal left a sour taste in my heart. I felt more at the sight of Uzair than Jaskirat when he doesn't meet his family..
And I must say Danish Pandor had a great role in that feeling that's why I said they should have caste someone else
Uzair’s selection made sense because he was connected high up in the ladder. He was Rehman’s brother and apparently IRL the sheer bloodshed after his reign in Lyari made Rehman look like a gentler person in comparison. Uzair had met all the relevant people and was considered as someone who had connections with the Khanani brothers, Iqbal, Rehman himself of course, Aslam.
Hamza needed a scapegoat not just to pin his own cases on, he needed someone who could be considered as a plausible candidate as a spy and Uzair fit the bill.
I personally didn’t care about him being blamed because well, the alternative was death. IRL he may not make it out of prison too but I still don’t mind what happens to a gangster at the end of the day. Had this been a random innocent man who was maybe a lowly driver or a cook or someone of the sort I would’ve felt bad for him being framed. But this guy was irl responsible for playing with a person’s head like a football, so yeah, no mercy whatsoever.
Danish did a good job and these movies are sure to open doors for him previously he couldn’t even knock on perhaps as he wouldn’t be allowed to even get close enough to them.
