Hmm makes sense but then how does the rest of the family not know about this? I mean, yeah Tulsi has a pretty solid explanation considering she was in jail when Nandini had her child but someone has to have known that Nandini had the child who was a son, moreover that son is alive.

Even if Karan had to make sure that the child is given away to someone else to be raised, owing to Nandini herself then he is not the sort to simply handover the child to some random person or secretly leave him in a cot outside some random orphanage like it was the case with old Bollywood movies. If he’s in touch with the child, then the child is being raised by someone Karan trusts enough to make sure the child is safe, well taken care of, raised well… who could that person be? Karan can provide monetary assistance but if he’s not involved with the upbringing of the child he has to trust the foster parent/s with his life to entrust a child to them. So who could that be and how did no one else in the family know?

So, yeah this line of thought has merit but it raises the question who is raising this child? Nandini had that reaction when Tulsi spoke of another woman in the scene in the chawl, so is Tanya coming back? Is it a new character played by a different actress? That remains to be seen.
