If sehar and Mahdi get divorced

In Hindi serials we see the leads getting separated multiple times and then remarrying .. but over here this is a serial where it’s a case of Muslim marriage laws

what I understand marrying a 16 year old minor is not a crime ..

but once they get divorced.. Remarriage is not possible without sehar marrrying someone else in between consummation of marriage and then divorce him

do the makers want to take this route ..

Isn’t it sehar requests Mahid to set her free for some times… so that she can study .. and then divorce her .. otherwise her father will remarry her to someone else ..

so long she’s married to him . She’s safe from her father .. Mahid is allowed to keep other wives sehar will give permission in this pretext they get separated ..

And they meet after 10 years .. now sehar is a doctor .. and Mahid is the mufti of the city

They will separate but I do hope they don't legally get divorced. I don't like the idea of Mahid have another wife because first it will Nazima and she is horrible. Secondly, it will mirror Seher being the first neglected wife like Kausar. Also could that lead a similar fate for her like Mahid's mother. Too many bad parrels.

Plus, Mahid and Parvez are nothing alike and I don't want him painted the same way.

but 10 years will cover the story in a totally different way .. Sehar is now 26 … and a practicing doctor and Mahid is now the mufti of the city who is 34 ..

the story of not being allowed to study has been done in many show like Ghum .. it will be better if they are still married

I'm hoping that there will not be a divorce as Mahid claims that the wedding is not valid since she is only 16; so most likely it will be annulment. I don't want a divorce and multiple marriage track as well. A short leap of 3-4 years will be ideal as I still want to see Mahid supporting her dreams of being a doctor.

I think their marriage will be annulled instead of divorce cause of Seher’s age and given the marriage is a week or 2 weeks long in the show’s timeline.

The divorce rules in Islam are kinda complicated which is why I didnt want them to be married till Seher is of legal age. But from what I understand a lady cannot marry the same guy they once married if he divorces her thrice unless she remarries someone else! That’s what they showed in Beintehaa too where the ML divorced the FL 3 times by triple talaq.

If the divorce happens once or twice, then Mahid can still get Seher back without her needing to remarry someone else.

I have a feeling Nazima and Mahid will be engaged post leap cause I saw an offscreen pic of Nazima having henna on her hand but dont think they will get married.

Is there any annulment in nikaah… I don’t think it applies .. They got married by sharia laws .. so if they get divorced.. Remarriage to the same guy cannot happen without another nikaah in between

Not 100% sure how annulment works in Islam but as far as I know underage marriage can be considered a reason for annulment, like some guys could be okay with age, but some could not be okay with for example they are lied about the age like Mahid’s case, then they can get it anulled given its within a certain period.

As for divorce in Islam, from what I understood and studied and even saw real life cases, if husband gives talaq to wife once or twice, they can still remarry but if he gives triple talaq then he cant remarry the wife unless the wife marries someone else and then divorces the other husband or the other husband passes away.
