I always wonder that what would have been the situation if sheh continued playing armaan. I believe that we must have gotten a armaan who would have an actual redemption and suffering for whatever he did . Abhira would have gotten a better character growth or atleast her character would have stayed linear in terms of growth unlike now when she is degraded beyond anything (not that she was the best character before but atleast she was likeable).

They can't be so stupid as to not understand that a weak FL is not what ITV audience would want but Rajan is too egoistic

But his ego may lead to end of YRKKH once and for all

She didn't celebrate holi with Mukti for 8 years, as I said she doesn't treat Mukti like her daughter, she had to stay away because Armaan kicked her out of their lives

And people thought she wouldn't take Armaan back, her character has always been written as a desperate woman for Armaan's touch

Even adults have feelings to dial with about lost relatives. Specially in holidays.

Frankly abhira never had any bond with maira , she didn't give birth to her nor was she with her when she was growing up. They never had any maa beti kind of bond, so all this mother daughter reunion thing is bland and boring.

Coming on to mukti, i actually thought that this time abhira might have an actual mother daughter bond with mukti but no abhira again proved that she is not capable of loving someone truly except for her armaan bhagwan.

Abhira is undeserving to be a mother , she is only deserving to be a jogan of that pos abuser.

Bsp was a lucky baby to escape from the horrible parents and family

But why rajan want none-redeemable ML and week FL . While it is bad for business per your words? For the sake of continuity and drama they need this.

If they gone with week ml . The show will not continue that far (jhanak wxmple). And if they show the FL that leave. The show will have less drama between the ML & FL. Which the target audience want.

And as you see how showing "independent" FL in this track had done. Lower trp.

And yes you can say they made many bad decisions. Like

- why they made abhira a mechanic not a lawyer? Would she discovered faster by mittals if she was still lawyer? Would she be thst rich even as lawyer?

- why they made vani lost her memory in the accident? She would be more vamp if she did not?

TLDR

The audience want couple drama . Nothing else. If they diverged from this main premise they will stop the show. Or gen leap.

It feels like that only , honestly I used to like their bond in the beginning but as days are passing by makers are writing abhira as someone who is burdened by mukti's responsibility and can run back to armaan and maira at any moment dumping mukti . Her actions are clear testimony to the fact , only saving grace is that earlier before hostel track abhira mukti scenes had very domestic vibe just like maa beti but now even those vibes have vanished in thin air .

Divorced women who have been abused by their husbands, especially when that divorce followed separation from child for 8 years and a restraining order, they don't miss their husbands, they don't remarry their husbands

I know many divorced individuals, they are not desperate for their exes, they celebrate holidays with their families

Highest TRPs of this gen was for Daksh and Abhir's track

Abhira is not shown as an independent FL, they didn't even give her, the identity of a lawyer
