Shobha went against Tulsi only for marrying Vishal. Tulsi didn't want the marriage because she thought Payal had planted Vishal in Shobha's life to take revenge from Viranis. But Vishal was genuinely a decent guy and Shobha made the right choice . Except this Shobha had always been the obedient sanskari daughter. Even when Tulsi was convinced Vishal is a good guy and knew his father was a decent man who would treat Shobha right she was afraid of the kind of treatment Shobha may get from Payal and rightfully so.

Payal by then was shown as a cabinet minister iirc, so Tulsi was also worried if she did something to her daughter even law wouldn’t be on their side as Payal was essentially one of the lawmakers of the country and one of the most powerful and influential people around as a cabinet minister.

Payal to her credit didn’t try to kill Shobha or physically hurt her though, she was too smart for that She did scheme but realised that she was only hurting her own son and came to realise she couldn’t have found a better match for her son and then grew to love Shobha like she would a daughter too.

Yep, previously the scandals were shown at a time when press meant limited TV channels and newspapers with the occasional radio show.

Now it’s social media which is faster and worse, more widespread and instant in spreading news - regardless of whether it is true or false.

They invade privacy as was displayed here by the way they immediately rushed up to Tulsi the moment they spotted her like vultures waiting for a prey.

People are quick to judge as was Mihir; despite the fact that if he had observed the video without his own prejudices against Tulsi currently poisoning his mind he would have seen she’s standing there shell-shocked and pretty much numb. She didn’t come across as the mother of the groom happily watching her son getting married to the girl he loves, a girl she approves as well.

The irony is Mihir immediately jumped the gun and blamed her, accusing her of being the one to orchestrate everything while Tulsi was only thinking about him and the hurt, humiliation and heartbreak this decision of Angad’s will cause Mihir. Mihir was the only one in her mind at that moment; she’s not concerned as much about anything or anyone else including society as much as she is about how this will affect him.

I am sure he will not listen to Angad trying to clarify things either right now.

The truth is Mihir is brainwashed by Noyona so whatever Tulsi says he won't believe. He will jump to his own conclusions which I can't tolerate.
