Well that is what he actually deserves... but tulsi is also being a doormat! Maybe due to smriti schedule....
But let the bahus do the talking for her... hope vrinda and manjuri, do the needful. Let the leap come ASAP and let the tables turn!!
She is absolutely alone here, older and burdened with the guilt of having hurt Mihir twice over after which he still pardoned her when Tulsi killed his son and later his mother. Furthermore he went ahead and adopted her niece and nephews as his own and loves them like crazy.
So this is not doormat behaviour for the sake of it even if it may seem like it. This is a woman in her 60s probably, she cannot be as ready to fight as she was in her youth. Worse, back then despite everything she had a support system in her family - there were her Baa, devranis, devars, always but eventually even her saas and sasur, later her children, her bahus and then her grandchildren. She had a father and later a cousin sister to turn to when she was seeking support from people outside her sasural. Who is around now? Who does she have now?
She is mellow because she’s thinking her marriage has survived multiple women trying to break it ranging from her saas to other women throwing themselves at Mihir to Mihir’s infidelity to her killing 2 people Mihir loved immensely. She thinks they might sail through this too somewhere in her heart.
But she’s starting to pick up this time around the rift between them is different as are their arguments. She’s simply yet not picked up on Noyna’s manipulation being the reason behind this. Things will change when she clues in on it. So far she’s only aware of Pari scheming against her but this is a daughter and not an enemy so she’s incapable of hating her and doesn’t want to hurt her either. She also feels it’s her fault that her daughter has turned out like this but every time a child has been a challenge to her previously she’s been able to mend them with the only exception being Ansh. And she certainly cannot go around shooting her children just at the drop of a hat. That was a rarest of the rare scenario wherein she was trying to protect a girl she had came to love as a daughter and also failed once immensely. The guilt of letting down Nandini once was weighing down on her for her to go ahead and shoot her own son.
Here what can she do? Shoot Pari because she’s a lying, manipulative witch? Not the same. At least not until Pari does something unforgivable and despicable beyond imagination which hasn’t happened yet. At least not as far as Tulsi is aware.
