When nandini was released out of jail she came back to be with karan and bhoomi but when she saw tanya she backed out. Before leap when nandini recovered from coma karan used to meet tanya since he felt guilty and considered her his responsibility, although he told her everytime that he can't give her the rights of being his wife . Karan said to tanya she shouldn't expect something which he can't give ,you are part of my life but nandini is my life ,he loves nandini a lot . He consummated his marriage with nandini nandini got pregnant. When nandini went to jail and tanya come back to live in sn karan repeatedly told to tanya that he can't give tanya the place of nandini in his life and heart. All these 20 years karan was faithful and loyal to nandini waiting for her to return. Tanya was just mother of his kids not his wife. Nobody asked tanya to live with a man who doesn't love her , it's tanya's desicion. Tanya herself become filler in nandini's absence when she went to coma and jail no one forced her .
