By the time this movie came she aged herself so much by acting with the older actors like SRK, Salman, Anil etc that her Jodi with both Abhishek and Vivek looked somewhat awkward which made their movies hard to watch for the public.

She probably resorted to Botox and the results are there for every one to see.. she had insecurities abt her look and rightly so because she was termed the most beautiful woman in the world ..we mere mortals get unsecured about our looks ..She was THE DIVA ,THE MISS WORLD ..

Yes maintaining your weight after a certain age is really difficult thing ..the metabolism slows down considerably..may be there are other health issues too like you said!!
Still listen to the songs, among the best SEL works for sure. The film, the less said about it the better.
