Veteran actress Soni Razdan recently took to social media to express her heartfelt gratitude to her daughters, Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, on Mother's Day. She shared a touching sentiment, thanking them for the honor of being their mother.

Soni shared a photo of the Bhatt sisters on her Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt caption, "Dear Shaheen and Alia… If what they say is true...That it's the soul that chooses you...Then thank you darlings from dusk to dawn…”

She added, “For choosing me as your mom... And if this is a happy accident...Then it's truly heaven sent...Being your mother is the best And I feel completely blessed...HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.”

About Soni Razdan

For those unfamiliar with their story, Soni Razdan married acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt on April 20, 1986. Their first daughter, Shaheen, was born on November 28, 1988, followed by their second daughter, Alia, in 1993.

In addition to her own daughters, Soni Razdan is also the stepmother to Pooja and Rahul Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt's children from his previous marriage to Kiran Bhatt. On the professional front, Soni recently hinted at an upcoming project in a social media post, offering a glimpse into the challenges faced by actors, though she kept the details sparse.

Alia’s work front

Alia and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in a private ceremony at their Mumbai home. Their daughter, Raha, was born on November 6 of the same year.

Alia has a busy schedule ahead with several upcoming projects. Her next appearance will be in Alpha, part of Yash Raj Films' spy universe, co-starring Sharvari and Bobby Deol. Additionally, she is set to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, scheduled for release next year.
