Sai was a good girl with great morals. The only time I disliked her was when she was having EMA with Virat while being married to Satya. While I have a bit of a different opinion on Neil, the rest I totally agree.

In fact, I was telling it to another friend the other day that Ghum makers got lucky that the show was introduced right around the time of Corona and somehow it clicked. If the same show was made today, I doubt it would have raised such eyeballs.

And be it the S2 or S2.5, they had a legacy factor which worked for them and the rest of it was just copy-pasting.

It's like that story of Sher Aya, Sher Aya - they got lucky with the first 2 times and felt they could show anything which clearly isn't working and I'm glad the show is tanking even after reintroducing Savi. Because these idiots have literally no creativity.

I remember both in TVD and Grey's Anatomy, the main protagonist left, and then came back to give the required hype when the show suffered. So it kind of makes sense why Savi's character was brought back. But instead of utilizing it, they are further butchering the characters and destroying whatever little integrity the characters had.

It simply feels infuriating to watch all these tamasha.

I can only speak for myself. I didn't change my opinion. I supported Neil most of the times. I clearly remember a lot of people criticised his behaviour on this forum when he went to Juhi's house for the very first time. Many people said his behaviour was very disrespectful towards Juhi. But I defended him at that time. I could connect to his character. He never humiliated her when she was alive. I also criticised Tejaswini when she went to meet RR alone in a different city. It was sheer stupidity and she shouldn't have lied to her parents. But that doesn't mean I dislike Tejaswini. People have both strengths and weaknesses. Nobody can be perfect. I didn't like the forced marriage trope and bride swapping trope. Yes, Neil shouldn't have agreed to marry when he knew Tejaswini didn't love her. But a lot of people become selfish when it comes to love.

As far as Savi is concerned, I never criticised her. Without knowing someone, I don't criticise. That's not my nature. I only criticise something when I have enough knowledge about that. I don't know anything about Savi because I never watched previous seasons. I know some people make fun of her on this forum. But she's only a fictional character. If someone makes fun of her, that doesn't mean that person is insulting a real human being. Those fun posts were created to make other people laugh.

While I majorly disagree with your opinion on Neil, I genuinely appreciate your clear perspective regarding the show.

And yes, we are not talking about any real people so let's also agree on that.

But then again, you also mentioned you don't make fun without knowing and that's what my actual issue is. My comment wasn't directed to you but a specific section of highly intellectual people who have openly admitted they haven't watched earlier seasons yet wouldn't shy away from commenting on it, and it's not even like real comment. It's more like why is she getting married to the current ML so let's criticize the character when the original ML or FL themselves had thousands of flaws.

If you are talking about a character, consider its entire journey, not just a half-baked portion because it's convenient.

Characterization couldn't be the cause teju was young headstrong girl. I too agree she had some flaws but in real life too no one is perfect. She was like normal fun loving college going girl. Neil too had some flaws. It couldn't be the cause of season failure.. I have seen s1 n don't even ask me about virat's character n pattu . Sai too was not perfect

None of the characters were perfect in any season. I never liked S1 TBH and avoided S2 like plague despite liking both Shakti and Bhavika as Ghum's level of toxicity is not my cup of a tea. But S3 was a copy of YHM and quite light-hearted so I enjoyed it.

With S4 they got overconfident and didn't even do the basic homework. A lot of reasons culminated into its failure and now with this forced merging, they are making a bigger mess and I'm really glad that the show is tanking.
