Sounds like Paresh has history of doing this, its sounding more and more real. Akshay hardly ever do publicity stunts, and hera pheri doesn't really need this kind of publicity.

The fact is that Akshay Kumar rarely ever sues like this and now we got Priyadarshan going from not sure to exploding like this. Either this is a publicity stunt or it's a very bad case of airing dirty laundry out in the public.

The headlines are not slowing down. It’s looking serious. But why is Akshay Kumar so bent out of shape about this? He seems more concerned than the producers. Or is he one of the producers?

On IMDb, Paresh isn't listed anymore as a member of the cast.

Only Nadiadwala is given as producer (on the IMDb-site)

Makers should just move on and pick Pankaj Tripathi or Ritesh Deshmukh and get a new flavour. He may outshine Paresh Rawal also.

In fact they should change the 2 male leads also and pick Kartik Aryan and Shahid Kapoor.

Don't know if it's publicity or what but it's getting too much overboard.

Not bad as propositions...especially as Akshay didn't want to do this sequal, initially...

They should go for Sanjay Dutt he is excellent in comedy, Pankak Tripathi also seems like a natural replacement of Paresh

Akki has joined in as producer, remember they had problem with firoz due payments but they came with solution of him joining as producer thats why Priyadarshan came in, because he could have never made film under Firoz they had folloud out during hera pheri 1.

Just shelve the project. Some classics should never be touched even if the original cast is retain. I can speak for myself i am a hera pheri fan but i have no interest to watch this one
