So there is article which states he wont get paid his rest of the wage 1month after the movie releases, which would be probably late 2026 or 2027, so he backed out. May be he needs money or he had bad experiences in past where he didnt get paid once movie releases. It is weird clause, just give 11lacks now and 15 crores later?

I honestly can’t tell. Some people are saying this is definitely a PR stunt because actors and producers always handle these kind of issues internally and privately. But lawyers are involved now. Is everyone in on the whole drama?

If this is a PR gimmick it’s in danger of seriously backfiring and causing backlash. People don’t take too kindly to being made a fool of. I’m just saying 🤷🏽‍♀️

As per the response its clear there was no tight bound script or screenplay of the movie yet. Even if it was there then it was deliberately not delivered to Paresh Rawal.

Rawal had already raised concern without full screenplay his role might get reduced to some kind of memes clips and his suspicion is truly justified.

Another rumor that's surrounding is when Akki jumped in as one of the producers of the movie, Paresh wanted to have clear talk regarding remuneration beforehand. Many actors have complained that they don't get paid after the release of the movie as most movies fails at the boxoffice. Be it Akki's cape of good films (akki's), Maddock or YRFs. Its hard for actors to fight against these big production houses or productions helmed by big actors for their money as their career might get screwed if they raise voice against such producers. They always make excuses saying they went into loss in this one and will adjust in the next movie.

No actor with common sense want to gamble their hard earned money in Bollywood, where hit rate is less than 3%. So, Paresh wanted his fees settled before completion of the movie, but after Akki landed as producer wanted to change clause and pay him only after release of the movie.

With no bound script, no role details and with just 11 lakhs signing amount for 15 Cr. fees rest to be paid after release. Not even Babu Bhaiyyaa with 10 Khambas down would accept such offer.

Everyone was attacking Kartik Aryan for stepping into the movie, but I doubt he would have cut Paresh's role or made him walk out. I hope now everyone knows who the problem is.

Wait, does Nadiadwala still own the right to the franchise? Why would Akshay or anyone else even announce the movie without having the rights to it? Who else are the producers?

Paresh Rawal and whom? Because whomever it is should have resolved the issue with Rawal privately instead of going public with all this drama and lawyers and what not. Had they dealt with it privately they could have always claimed scheduling conflict later one. But what are they gonna claim now?

Honestly, Akshay looks like he’s just panicking about this movie because he’s desperate for a hit.

After some drama they may say everything is sorted out and he's back n the movie.
