Yes, maybe it was hidden - or just not opportun to let the general people know. In every country things are done by the leaders that the common people aren't aware of.

Although I got - throughout the years - a lot of input about India (from very different sources apart from my own experiences), I didn't get into details of taxes (yet got to know about other sources for 'state'-money and also for what it got spent).

Your welcome. I do get that not all things should be in public but Hindus are now finding it as a injustice that their palaces of worship are under govt and rest are not. Either have all or no one. That's the all issue I can think.

Absolutely correct, also in my opinion. It is unfair to treat religions differently (and against the idea of the constitution).
