Whenever sayilee went to Savitri crying about her problems, instead of genuinely consoling her , her only advice to sayilee was to understand Sachin. I don't think she ever reprimanded Sachin for anything!! Just got mad when he said no to suhaagraat.

Exactly!! Sachin was actually super abusive and used to have no hesitation in slapping Sailee. He didn't deserve her, but the oldies always made her feel more responsible for maintaining their relationship. Aaji had never reprimanded Sachin properly for the way he treated people around him and his wife.

Sailee's literally the only good thing that's happened to him. I hate how he's not even thinking of moving out even though he sees how badly she gets treated by his family. Like dude, at least try to find a place when you willingly gave your own room to your parents. Of course your siblings don't want to share.

bhai unki suhag raat, unko jab manana hai manaenge, aapko kya karna, joint family kaa matlab ye thodi hota hai ki bas ghuse raho sbke personal matter mei.

and as I said, her definition of a good bahu is very problematic, before expecting anything from her bahus she should look at her own grandsons

Also, there’s something I’ve noticed and maybe I’m wrong, but it happens quite often.

Whenever Renuka says something to Saily, she usually doesn’t respond immediately. She stays quiet at first. Then later, she tells Sachin about it. After that, Sachin gets angry, creates a scene, and only then does she start speaking up. But by then, things have already escalated.

And Once the situation blows up, Saily herself ends up scolding Sachin, saying, “Why did you interfere?”

bhai chahti kya hai?

earlier she was upfront now I don't know what's happening.

Also earlier, Saily used to correct Sachin when he was wrong. She would make him understand, even if it meant going against him. But lately, it seems like that has completely changed. Now, even when Sachin is clearly in the wrong, she still supports him.

Take today’s AC drama, for example. What Sachin did wasn’t right, regardless of what anyone's intentions were, there was absolutely no need for him to create such a scene. It was completely uncalled for.

But instead of calling it out, Saily said things like, “You were absolutely right," That’s not okay. When someone is wrong, they’re wrong. Sugarcoating it or blindly supporting them just enables the behavior.

Also may be I missed something, but roshni ne genuinely apna mangalsutra girvi rakkha tha (again may be I missed something) but ye kehna ki usne ye jaan boojh kar kiya was not good I think.

roshni vaise drama karti hai, but today I don't think so, or may be I missed something.

For that matter even Paresh and Akash say that Sachin was right in returning the a/c, but his ways were wrong. Why????

Independent decision.

Roshni pledged her mangalsutra only to save Tejas's dignity.

She is sincere to Tejas, if not to the full family.

Despite that, she hasn't shown a lot of partiality between her three grandsons. She has her favourite but doesn't just give him everything. When it comes to wealth and offerings, she has divided things up more. And I think the little favouring she does towards SaChi is fair seeing how they get treated by Renuka and Paresh.

Renuka is openly partial and favours Tejas the most and then Aakash. Paresh acts like he's impartial but Aakash is definitely his favourite and most favoured son (remember, he didn't leave his room for Sachin but actually gave it up for Aakash and didn't like Aakash sleeping on the terrace). Compared to that, Savitri's small amount of favouritism isn't a big deal imo. \

Savitri and Riya belong to completely different generations with different ideals and viewpoints. It's not like Sailee and Roshni who have actually grown up with those traditional values and being doormat, which Savitri prefers. Riya's too bold for Savitri, which is why there is a different behaviour but Savitri hasn't done anything bad to her. Savitri's clear priority is Sailee because she is the one who is treated bad between the three.

Though I do agree that Savitri has this thing where DILs are the ones to make a home, keep the family together, blah blah blah. I despised her when she became so pushy for SaChi suhaag-raat like it was too much. Also, I get her trying to make everyone contribute to household chores but her expecting only women to do so is completely wrong. She always wants women to compromise.

I also hated the way she and Paresh were so obsessed with making Sailee compromise with Sachin because irrespective of how Sachin is now he was a terrible and abusive husband to Sailee in the beginning who manhandled, gaslighted, and emotionally abused her.

Agree with you completely.

Looking at the way Sacha is getting treated by Renuka, Tejas, Roshni, and sometimes Paresh, I don't find anything wrong with Savitri being partial to Sachin and Sayali.

See, the thing is, everyone knows that Renuka isn’t exactly the nicest person, and nobody is denying that. But what I really don’t understand is why Paresh and Savitri are being glorified so much.

Let’s talk about Paresh for a second. When his father-in-law gave him a house, that too in his name, he had no problem accepting it. He was perfectly fine with that. But now, when Riya’s mother sent an AC suddenly it became a big issue? Why the double standards?

No matter what Riya's mom's intentions are, the way her mom is constantly treated just isn’t right. I am saying this because riya is genuinely a kind hearted person, and if nothing else, the family should at least respect her mom for riya's sake.

I mean, take Renuka for example—she’s Sachin’s mother and openly disrespects everyone all the time. Yet, Sachin and Saily still treat her with so much respect. Compared to that, Riya’s mother hasn’t even done anything close to what Renuka does. So why is there such a problem when it comes to showing basic respect towards her?

Now let's come to Savitri, she’s always painted as this perfect, balanced mother-in-law. But if we look closely, her biases are subtle, not loud like Renuka’s, but definitely there. She’s quick to expect, quick to judge, but rarely shows appreciation for the genuine efforts people like Riya make.

This is my opinion that Just because someone isn’t as loud or toxic doesn’t automatically make them right. Quiet unfairness is still unfairness.

Also her definition of a perfect DIL is very weird and problematic, she does not understand the other side I think.

Im sorry but Riya's mom doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt or respect after openly calling Sayli a thief to humiliate her. Everyone knows what her intentions are and they are not good, just wants to glorify her affluent status. Plus when everyone already said no to the AC on Sachi's engagement, then why still send it? When someone already said no and u still send it, everyone knows that's with not good intentions at all.
