Hrithik has been an assistant director since even before he's become an actor, and he's been ghost directing a lot of his films (probably even War 2 since Adi is putting his faith in him). I feel like he's going to serve hard tbh 🔥

I don’t know about ghost directing as this is the first time I’m hearing it, but him being an assistant director before becoming an actor doesn’t mean much. Every other nepo baby was an assistant director before becoming an actor. Sonam, Varun, Arjun, Ranbir, Shanaya, just to name a few.

Who knows maybe he might want to direct another film after. It could be his next run as Bollywood's top director

Couldn’t that legacy have continued with Hrithik as an actor? He’s already more famous and successful as an actor than his father ever was as a filmmaker, outside of Hrithik starring movies that is. This would have made more sense if he was taking over as a producer.

My guess is they couldn’t find a capable director willing to agree to their vision and the ones that would agree with them wasn’t up to their standards. So Hrithik decided to DIY this movie, with YRF’s money.

you gotta be serious dude, their is no way Hrithik is more successful than his father. Hrithik owe his success to his father without him he would have been finished few years after his debut. His father was a Blockbuster director.

Hrithik has six major Hits as lead in his all career. 4 where his father's films.

A few people have already said this to me in the previous pages. I guess I only thought Karan Arjun was his big hit before launching Hrithik. All his major successes and blockbusters came with Hrithik, didn’t they? Was he able to pull that kind of blockbuster without his son? I’m genuinely asking.

That is right, even though Rakesh Roshan has directed successful movies before, his biggest blockbusters are with Hrithik, none of his previous films have iconic status like KNPH or KRRISH franchise, except Karan Arjun. In an interview Hrithik had said that if KNPH would not succeed at the box office they may had to auction their house. They had a lot of things at stake to make KNPH.
