That is right, even though Rakesh Roshan has directed successful movies before, his biggest blockbusters are with Hrithik, none of his previous films have iconic status like KNPH or KRRISH franchise, except Karan Arjun. In an interview Hrithik had said that if KNPH would not succeed at the box office they may had to auction their house. They had a lot of things at stake to make KNPH.

Wherever KNPH or Krrish could've been successful without Hrithik but record books say that whenever the same SRK tried his own super hero movie, that was a dismal movie in the box office. Salman on the other hand is a superhero with and without acting in films, I mean nobody can be gutsy enough to make a movie like Kisika bhai kisika jaan.

Rest I agree, Hrithik wouldn't be Hrithik without his father's support, and Aditya Chopra wouldn't collaborate with the franchise had Hrithik not been the main man in Krrish.

It makes no sense to compare Krrish and Ra.One … G.One was created as superhero only to fight one supervillain in a game where the evil would win and in the movie, his only task was to protect the creator’s wife and son by finally absorbing the evil. It had a quite philosophical and intimate touch. And coming after My Name Is Khan, it became SRK’s first movie that got ‘pushed’ into negativity through a paid campaign.

Ummm what’s wrong with Hrithik’s career? One weird choice after another…

Krrish was made by Rakesh Roshan while Ra.One was made by flop Director Anubav Singh that was the main different

KNPH is still Hrithik biggest Hit, Bigger footfalls as well bigger Adjusting net gross with far lower budget than War.
