In Nameer's iv today he talked a bit about Manto.

He said it's a show about rivalries - good vs bad guys. This is what I thought too that this will be more along the lines of GM (that was about ghunda vs gentleman) than smd, which is about love.

I still stand by what I said. Humayun will eventually lead a group of people to fight some injustice even though he is shown to be a cowardly fearful person at the beginning afraid to fight the bad guys. His name will be Manto but his personality will be the opposite. But he will eventually transform into a bold social warrior not afraid to call out what is wrong, like Manto.

Nameer also said they have been shooting this for last 1.5 years and some shoots are still left. But he thinks it should air by end April or in May. Do you think it will replace Aye Dil?

Anyway if Naamdar sahab dies in this one too, we will have another saga of "Abba kehte the..."

Looks like my prediction was right . Humayun is a saviour after all. I am happy though that Sajal seems to be doing a commercial drama which Manto seems to be. Humayun production house has been making really good dramas lately. I hope he hasn't chose worst for himself.

Humayun's PH brings good dramas but KRQ recent ones were too bad. I hope this one would not be like his lastest dramas.
