As the last episode of Shrimad Ramayan is airing today on tv, it's time to bid farewell to a show that brought to life the timeless epic of Ramayan with devotion and grandeur.

As Shrimad Ramayan unfolded its divine tale, this forum grew alongside it, becoming a space where fans shared insights, discussions, and heartfelt emotions. This is my journey with this show.

When the promo came I wasn’t sure whether I would watch or not (had bad experience with Swastik mytho shows). Then I decided to give it a try and liked its presentation. After 4th episode when Sujay entered the show I was hooked to it as he was divine as Shri Rama. TBH I was skeptical of his casting but after this show he is one of my favorite actors of ITV. He excelled as Shri Rama( though the characterization was sometimes different from the Valmiki Ramayana). Prachi, Basant, Nirbhay, Nikhilesh, My supermodel Samarthya, Nikitin, Shourya, Atharva and rest of the cast did their part so well. Wish them all the best for their future endeavors.

This show was close to VR initially and that’s why I loved it. They did some blunder with the Yuddh Kand but till coronation show was good.

Don’t want to talk about UK as I only have negative things related to that

The most important part of this journey was this forum, met some lovely folks and learned so many unknown stories, laughed a lot during our vellapanti.

Shrimad Ramayan

1 January 2024 - 10 March 2025

The show showcased the life of Ram - 7th incarnation of Shri Hari Vishnu and Sita - the incarnation of Maa Lakshmi.

Ramayan is not just the story of Journey of Ram but the teacher of how to live life. It is not just an epic but an emotion.. And Shrimad Ramayan captured that…. All the episodes which we witnessed mesmerised all of us and of course a few we felt like breaking the TV. The journey we witnessed through the screen of SiyaRam is a reminder to all of us about being righteous, selfless, and true..

As this show comes to an end.. We have witnessed a rollercoaster of emotions including love, happiness, sadness, peace, tranquility, and of course anger and comedy.

We will forever cherish the moments from the show where we saw SiyaRam together. All the four brothers and sisters showing unity. The mahayudh between Ram and Ravan.And i am sure none of us are forgetting the trio of Sahastramukh, Shurpanakha and Banasur aka Sasta, Shurpi and Ghagra

And of course one more thing… all the fan fictions made in this forums…. Was cherry on the cake

let's focus on the positive memories and experiences of this show that has happened, rather than dwelling on the fact that it's over.

Lets enjoy the journey we had together through all the episodes.. From loving the show to bashing it at the same time… From hoping for something to ending up with no hope.. Lets enjoy today as it happened..

We made multiple friends we won’t forget for years to come. The stories which made us laugh and endless future predictions we all did. And as we say sometimes small memories cover large part of our hearts… These memories have definitely made a small part of our heart

So coming back to whole journey of ramayan

The show started with bang

Perfect background perfect cast

Perfect music

Midway goofed but still manage to hold interest

As we look bk on this journey

We remember how much we had fun with asurs starting with khar dushan.

Then Lanka army and lankesh

Oh god those were hilarious moments..

Post Lanka yudh till coronation it went well

But show down fall started with all adventures by luv kush

So many fantasy stories

Enter sahastra mukh ravan and his crazy comic style earned him nickname sasta ravan along with his side kick banasur nicknamed ghagra boy

Oh we had so much fun with these two and their antics

Overall journey has been great

So many new things I learned here which I was not aware of

Finally today maha prasthan was beautiful done

loved the show and met many new friends and they are quite knowledgeable as well

got to learn and know many interesting stories from them

tagging a few members but sending best wishes to all
