I wont call SMD a commercial failure because it got views,even though it didn't get trps ...though the views are not like that of MSM or Iqtidar still it crossed 620 M mark...so its being watched but people are not getting entertained..SMD is like upgraded version of Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha..where Wahaj's character is good but whole show is trash.

Its not like SMD didn't have potential..but the focus on characters other than BA which are unlikable characters was so high that it overshadowed Wahaj's character and on the top of it less screentime. Haseeb wanted to make it mann mayal 2.0 minus Sallu's track and KRQ wanted to overphilosophize everything which the characters say..so all these things worked against the drama.

Like SMD had a potential to be a good deeper love story but such a lost potential.

Wahaj needs to see script instead of team because at the end of the day,story is the king..!! If the story is not well knit or well written even beauty shots can't save a show. And most people want him to give a commercial blockbuster like Tere Bin..which is also not possible everytime...he cant get stuck in doing one type of roles otherwise he'll be typecasted like that of Danish..Most probably he has just seen his character and didn’t care about the story and screentime but overall his fans were really unhappy.

Here is what I'm predicting:

E38: Sadaf insults Bilal and quits her job. Bilal gets upset. He drinks and leaves for Karachi with Humsha. Sadaf gives Ammar sleeping pills and some sort of dare.

E39: Sadaf returns to Karachi. More pressure from Farzana & Humsha. More Ammar rona dhona. Bilal finds truth about Humsha and her machinations.

E40: Ammar rona dhona. Bilal goes to Sadaf's house. Rain scene. Before anything happens, they find out Ammar has eaten the sleeping pills. Sadaf is guilty and distraught. They take Ammar to hospital.

E41: Bilal thinks Sadaf being distraught means she loves Ammar so he tries to leave. Sadaf runs after him and confesses her love and proposes. Bilal confesses too. Humsha and Ammar left alo e without love and full of regrets. Visual montage of marriage and post marriage romance scenes.

One thing that Mirza Saab was correct about is that Bilal will always need a Sahara. Back then it was him and the escorts, now it’s Hamsha. Even if Sadaf falls in love with him, how much does she know him about as a person ?

If this was irl, I will call them a bad match. They reinforce each others worst impulses/tendencies. Sadaf is an egoist and impulsive and Bilal just panders to it. As time goes by these habits will become even more ingrained in Sadaf till she will be unbearable. Bilal is a doormat. Instead of sahara, Sadaf will dominate him insteaf and be a full on harpy. Overtime Bilal will become evem more of a doormat, a loser really, who will start to secretly drink or play a lot oh golf as a coping mechanism.

If I were Sadaf, I would've used Bilal & taken all his properties & bank balance in my name, & then I would've sent him to a mental asylum. Aise itne zyada naik, selfless, acche logo ka is society me koi kaam nahi hai

They should have repurposed SMD into an Abbas Mastaan project like Race 🤪🤪🤪 Imagine if it was a scheme hatched by Sadaf in cahoots with Ammar to dupe Bilal to get his money, but then Bilal only pretends to go to the lunatic asylum, and plans with Humsha an escape and revenge plan on Sadaf and Ammar
