@bold: Exactly....guilt is his underlying emotion about everything related to Arshi. Past relationship ka guilt is supposedly the all encompassing explanation for why Ani still doesn't realize his mistakes and what he did wrong by continuing to live with Arshi for so long despite getting clarity that he doesn't love her and was unable to move forward with her even when J wasn't around.

Story mein baar baar yeh narrative push kiya jaata hai ki Anishi couldn't move forward with physical rishta cuz Jhanak was constantly a thorn in their relationship....that is the excuse being given for why they didn't sleep together despite sharing a bed for so long and supposedly being considered husband-wife by everyone.....Leena never definitively clarifies that it was Ani who couldn't move forward cuz he only desired Jhanak, not Arshi.

No one points out ki Arshi kaisi ladki hai jise itne time tak khud bhi koi physical rishte mein interest nahin tha and only MOM ki coaching pe she tried to force herself on Ani to get pregnant and trap him? lol

Even after forcibly sleeping with him, very next day she still wanted to walk away by giving excuse ki shaadi puri nahin hui hai Ani se cuz she saw he was still crying remembering Jhanak only....lol but now for current bakwaas track, we will just keep getting gaslighted ki supposedly Ani loves both women isliye Arshi ke saath bhi reh raha hai and Jhanak ke baare mein bhi sochta rehta hai....lol

This opinion of him was from Runak marriage nullity times....now his heart fully belongs to Jhanak...but it's his life that is divided between sansaar and Jhanak...recall his conversation with Arshi in his room before K decided to leave for Mumbai..

She refuses to let there be any consistent clarification about Anishi ka equation cuz she just wants to keep pulling levers to portray Ani as some kind of two-timer for the sake of "drama.....even when Ani quite definitively clarified that he only loves Jhanak, Leena still makes him backtrack and keep giving these guilt-ridden obligatory fake ILUs to Arshi to pacify her.....lol.....that's how little she thinks of the man's integrity in this story....she fully expects people to be cool with an Ani who can say ILU to anyone weighed down in guilt ....this so called "guilt" is her all purpose card to portray any kind of nonsense

@bold: Yes, he has even clarified this to Jhanak already in this wala scene from Nutan track ki mere dil mein sirf tum ho, Jhanak.....the division is between pyar and zimmedaari...not dil ke do hisse between Arshi or Jhanak.

Didi zabardasti khud ko relevant rakhne ke liye baar baar bolti hai ki Ani loves both women ....she very well knows usko khairaat and guilt mein milte hain fake ILUs from Ani.....wife ka title in name only lekar baithi hai despite paapi pet....cuz Ani ke dil mein sirf Jhanak hi hai.

Ani was initially against AK also cuz his reputation was that of a playboy/loose character guy.....that is also why he got quite pissed off seeing Jhanak inviting such a guy into her life.

He was jealous of Rahul also but ultimately he had made himself adjust to Jhanak marrying Rahul ....dil pe patthar rakh ke accept kar liya tha woh bhi even though he was still unable to help himself from doing things for Jhanak like bringing her food during exams or trying to set up her shaadi with Rahul....lol

He accepted AK ka love for J as genuine but tab bhi he felt super jealous seeing Jhanak rejecting him and accepting AK ka proposal

Even now when he thinks she's married to Vihaan whom he considers a good guy and he's trying to accept Jhanak as his wife, phir bhi Ani will never be able to stop himself from worrying about Jhanak or trying to do something for her in any time of need.....woh haq use humesha feel hoga chahe Jhanak officially kisi aur ki wife ho jaaye

In summary, Ani jo HAQ feel karta hai Jhanak pe is unlikely to ever fully go away no matter what the situation.
