Jhanak wants Ani to think she is married and off-limits cuz she considers him an immoral man who wants both her and Didi....lol this was the gist of what she said to him in the mandap also....ki you were carrying on with Didi but also wanting to marry me by lying to me. This is why she is mocking his love now also ki you don't know definition of love if you are saying it wasn't all a lie even after Didi has shown up pregnant with your kid.

Jhanak will never confront her own hypocrisies on all this....it's easier to just project Ani as a cheap two-timer and continue riding her fake moral superiority complex

In fact I would further go on to say that duality in this tale exists in the form of J not Ani but it suits the narrative to make it about Ani

Ani from the time he has accepted his love for J has been steadfast and his acceptance of the baby is circumstantial. The nonsense around his care for Arshi is drama that Leena adds for her supposed nonexistent layering… as if Arshi is some person who doesn’t see through this all and she is being betrayed 😂😂

However, I want to point out the expedient aspect that Leena has built in this situation without exploring the depth..In normal circumstances if a man doesn’t have physical relations with a person… and that person says I am carrying your baby… won’t you try to think of the one off case such a thing happened.. Ani acting as if that one incident happened when he was tipsy without exploring the situation is so stupid and almost similar just like the time he was delirious and refused to engage with the possibility that something more could have happened. This implicit faith in Arshi as his downfall and his realisation about it is what I have been angling and waiting to unfold ( if there is a sliver of hope) Not that I am holding my breath though!!

@bold: This actually jives more with how Leena always shows the ML-PL equation....ki it was a "long term relationship" toh under the guise of that, we must swallow this portrayal that ML will never question PL trying to cling to him even in a dead rishta or showing up with a pregnancy claim....cuz apparently ML is eternally weighed down by guilt of sharing a past with PL.....only for such situations, that is.....warna otherwise ML will also not stop asserting the fact that his truth is that he only loves the FL so that is why he will always keep worrying for her

Leena has made it extra dirty and uglier with the setup of this Anishi equation also ki she never showed Ani reflecting on what kind of "live in" he had going with Arshi ki itne saalon mein koi physical relationship bhi nahin hua and not even when they started living in the same room together without shaadi.....kis khushi mein bed share kar rahe the phir? .....Yeh kaisa ajeeb selective affection hai where otherwise he supposedly feels so much obligation to care for Arshi, is ok with doing casual touches like holding her hand or cupping her face....but usse aage kabhi kuch nahin karna tha? Whole life platonic bedmates banke jeena tha while always mooning after Jhanak mann se?

This is the reason why they are probably not showing Ani reflecting on anything cuz he was anyways sharing a room with Arshi and they were being perceived as living like husband-wife....he feels the guilt of carrying on living with Arshi even till that point and probably presumes ki ek weak drunk moment mein Jhanak ko imagine kar raha tha but room mein Arshi thi toh sab ho gaya....he is willing to consider himself as the weaker one but never consider that Arshi could take advantage of him....lol cuz again, Leena ne setup hi aise rakha hai ki Ani is shown jumping to take Arshi ki zimmedaari always so Didi supposedly toh bas usi wajah se ruki rehti hai Ani ki life mein....lol

Jhanak looks INSANELY jealous of Arshi, period ....that is the only thing coming across in both her dialogues and her acting. And no one will buy that she is so "naive" about what shaadi entails when she herself slept with Ani while claiming it was cuz they were married at the time....lol....so expecting the audience to believe that Jhanak saw Anishi living in the same room since over 200 episodes, constantly herself claimed ki Anishi ka "ghar basaa hua hai", that Jhanak presumed they had no pati patni wala rishta and only NOW she is hurt? lol

No, she doesn't come across as hurt simply over Ani supposedly lying to her....she is MAJORLY salty about the fact ki Didi being pregnant is proof that Ani slept with her....this undercuts all of Jhanak's tall claims about having such ownership over Ani that SHE decides his fate and ALLOWS him to go back to Arshi didi as KHAIRAAT from her side....lol the way she enjoyed boasting to Didi in every scene ki I'm ALLOWING you to have Sirji warna main chahun toh two minutes mein chheen loon....lol woh sab claims ko muh ki khaani padi with Didi ka pregnancy bomb, THAT is what she is salty about....ki jis pyar ko waise toh kabhi respect nahin kiya but used it as a weapon to do cheap tashan games with Didi, woh pyar hawaa ho gaya with Didi showing up pregnant....lol Jhanak se yeh HAAR nahin bardaasht ho rahi cuz even though she's lost other trophies to Didi, she was always supremely arrogant and confident that Sirji naam ki trophy woh apne terms pe let go kar rahi hai.....lekin Didi changed the terms with her pregnancy and yeh defeat nahin bardaasht ho rahi Jhanak Maharani ko

Notice how in all this, Ani ke emotions/feelings are not a factor at all....lol it has always just been about Jhanak's cheap thrills of getting one up on Didi....Ani was just a tool for her to do that.

...that's why I said take it with a pinch of salt...it's what I tried to interpret given the development...

...J was happy seeing Anishit ka basa hua sansaar...after consummation also, she didn't feel haq over Ani....coz Ani never confessed in senses...moreover, she 'believed' Anishit was leading a normal conjugal life until Ani clarifies there's no 'rishta' between Arshi and him...waha se J started believing that Anishit were platonic....and she had the sense of haq that's why she could talk about jab chahoo Sirjee ko aapse chhen sakti hun...she has guroor on her love...with Didi's declaration of paap ki nishani on the way, J's guroor broke! Her trust broke, the trust which was newly developed due to Anirudh's assurance of no rishta with Arshi...

...again...I am trying to explain given the developments...shayed makers yehi batana chahte hai...

....and her out outburst are now aggravated to set the future track...where this particular behaviour of her's will make her a suspect of a deed, which she can never commit..

Even after the so called realization Leena aunty will not let him free from that daayan. So all that tamasha will be of no use. Har chiz same point pe rahegi. Didi sticking to him like leech , jhanak running away ....Gujarat for now, aage kahi or chali jayegi. Lol audience ko sare games pata hai thank God they are not giving trp to this circus.

Ofcourse it's her choice! She claims to be strong, independent woman! Independence doesn't always means economics freedom... independence is also the freedom to think and act accordingly...Arshi cannot be excused on the point that MOWM or Ani misguided her...everything happened in front of her eyes...still she CHOSE to stick around...and that's one of the reasons I have slowly fell out of sympathy for her..

On to the point of Amar Prem… first of all Amar prem is devoid of romantic attachment… atleast that is what usually a platonic relationship is about… Jhanak is nowhere close to that stage of seeing her relationship as Amar Prem. even though she described it as such; Ani on the other hand never claimed he was looking for Amar Prem.. he wanted to be part of her life in every which way and he did his best imv and now he has done the next best thing in the circumstance is accept the inevitable ( even though it may have something to do with Vihaan in love with dead wife Avni) is to look out for her wellbeing… whether that changes ahead I have no idea…

I think the amar prem thing was true for J until Ani convinced her that he doesn't have rishta with Arshi...uske baad se, no matter what she told (as she is a dogli!), she started developing certain expectations from her love...so amar prem ceases to exist from that point..

Some of the viewers, especially after that kamzori dialogue of him, started claiming he had lust/attraction for Arshi!! That's such a lie!! The narrative clearly showed and still showing that Ani is not atall attractes towards Arshi! In fact, agr lust ya physical attraction ki baat kare to woh bhi sirf J ke liye hi dikha hai since the birthday date night...that's why paana chahta hu, saath rehna chahta hu, pyaar karna chahta hu, shaadi annulled hone k baad bhi J ko biwi manna man hi man...why?? He wanted a normal husband wifely relation with J in a normal situation...

....in fact Ani ke Arshi ke liye concern ko lust bolna is such a disrespectful thought!! He has a care and concern driven, guilt ridden love for Arshi which is anything but physical in nature...and the kamzori dialogue which was easily misinterpreted as many other dialogues of him, simply meant his guilt and concern for her, driven by which he fails to ignore her completely...ask me whether it is right??? No...ofcourse not...he couldn't realise that it is wrong...and that to a great extent, is the reason why he is stuck with Arshi in a loveless, duty bound marriage..
