MJ hardly got any budget for promotion, started on a dead slot, was a script where Bilal's screen time was after the 5th episode and it ended by 9th. Sultana apa, the producer in her interview said, this is made to further a cause, she is not expecting much from her trilogy.

I agree with SMD, it delivers on view. It's being watched and talked about even if you say people are panning it, but they are still contributing to the discussion, cant stop watching/reviewing it. Many others have been attributing success to leads, but if its only consistently happening with Wahaj, then Wahaj deserves the credit to bring in consistent views.

I am talking about the period during which Wahaj signed it. It doesn't matter when he started shooting for it, he could have shot for it after 5 years but the fact remains that he didn't sign it after TB...After TB, he signed only one project which is SMD.

There is a point in signing something that’s for your craft and not for revenue and that’s being a versatile actor. If you have a passion in the craft then not everything will be for money and many actors do a balance of both otherwise everyone would leave the social and critically acclaimed dramas that don’t get much views but do get critical acclaim. Wahaj is doing commercial dramas lately but he is someone who is passionate about his acting so I think he will get back into doing a social drama sometime soon 😊

You will see comments in the SMD thread that praises choices by Bilal, HAA and AAA and how Wahaj suffers in comparison. Maybe you should also mention that. That thread has lots of comments critical of Wahaj's choices and his performance and calling SMD out for its poor TRPs. The point of a DT is to have a discussion (it's in the name) and people will obviously have different opinions. To say that SMD thread is a onesided echo chamber says more about you than what is being said or discussed on that thread.

Well deserved! Show is moving fast and characters are intriguing! I thought it would take time for them to reach the mystery plot twist that happened today but this show means business. No time to waste

I said the same thing about GM & people took an offence. When more money is spent on a project & A listers are casted then people do expect more from it. I find similarities here. SMD is doing well views wise, TRPs although not good are still better than other Geo shows currently. Such kind of explanation was given for GM as well.

Channels post TRPs only when they lead a slot. Bismil is currently the slot leader so Geo doesn’t post.

Qej seems a good show so it will perform better. At the end of the day it’s the plot that wins.
