Yes, the channel name is different. But all the videos uploaded on that channel are only with Aditya ,Daya and Ansha.

They also went to Shivaji sirs house... so maybe it's possible they decided season 2 way before and AbD's videos are just a way to gather back the audience

CID's downfall began when they began focusing on Characters more rather than Story and Script. CID include some unnecessary characters. I'm not against any artists. The makers should have developed her character. The character was like that of a daily soap opera character.

When the actress playing Shreya joined the show in 2012 she was mainly a normal officer and not a daily soap character but a year later they made her Daya's love interest and you know what happened after that.

Talking about Abhijeet, whenever they add comedy into his character, it feels pretty weird and OTT, especially when he flirts with Tarika, such as when he sees Tarika at a park and dances in the vampire episode 1043. Or when he dances upon learning that DCP Chitrole sir went missing in the jungle in CID Mein Daraar Part 1 episode 1250. Both of these have turned into internet memes, if you know what I mean. If the makers want to add comedy to Abhijeet's character, it should be subtle and not to the point where he has to make an absolute fool out of himself.

If you ask me, CID lost its charm when it started to appeal to all sections of society, especially kids. This is when they lost track of the story, screenplay, logic, forensics, characters, etc. However, it did help the show gain a lot of TRP, especially between 2011-2012, where it stayed mostly in the Top 10.

And about Shruthi there is one correction. She thought her husband was dead but in fact, he was alive.

I don't think they have budget constraints. Sony is a huge channel. They are producing so many shows like Indian Idol and KBC. If they can spend money on them, then why can't they spend on CID and get good writers / directors. Obviously the writers / directors won't charge more than Amit Ji in KBC or Shreya and Vishal in Indian Idol 😂

I think budget constraints are the reason why the cast members wear the same clothes again and again for one to two years until they get new ones. Since the show starting from 2010 aired twice a week and later on thrice a week, I'm pretty sure there was a lot of hassle in writing scripts and shooting for episodes. Since the producers didn't want to spend crores of money, they did everything as fast as they could on a budget, such as having writers write scripts without thinking about logic. So it would have been pretty hard for FW to select good writers. This wouldn't necessarily be a problem if it was a 30-minute daily soap but since CID is a crime show, I feel that the makers were under serious pressure to deliver.

CID needs junior officers to assist Seniors in the action like in the Kavin - Dushyant era (characters like Vikram, Ishitha etc.). Also, in action scenes the costumes of officers is to be changed accordingly. ACP doing action scenes (mainly in climax scenes) in full coat suit is very senseless.
