I think more than that as bekind said she focused more on BO outcome rather than scripts and when she realized it I think it was little late in the game.
she is a good actress if given a good script and role, better than shraddha I feel.

The episode was in January 2014...Mahesh had only seen Alia in SOTY, but not yet in Highway (which released only in February)

Parineeti had already shown her talent in the movie with Ranveer, in Ishaqzaade with Arjun and in the movie with Sushant.

So it would have been quite ridiculous to name Alia instead of Parineeti, I think.

Well now Alia is way ahead and I’m only hoping on Kiarra to top
