I think, at the moment and relative to the Hindi filmindustry only, the ZeeCineAwards seems to be the most genuine because of the voting process being the base for the awards who are given for popularity.

Neither Vicky nor Vikrant may have got enough votes to get considered as popular. For them, Filmfare and the Phalke awards are more apt.

But, to be honest, I'm not interested in one of them as long as SRK isn't involved.

That happens all the time. What was the funniest was when an actress was on stage (I think it was Katrina) and they still showed her reaction in the audience.

These awards have no credibility. Furthermore I also think everyone within the industry realizes that as well. Everyone just uses it as a publicity gimmick, or perhaps a paycheck for performance, and the organizers and the TV channels as a ratings ploy for revenue. And the money they all make from it must be a lot because over the years there’s been no attempt to correct anything. Jokes about the editing has been going on for years and yet it still happens. Criticism and pushback against giving awards based on attendance has been happening for years too and yet it hasn’t phased neither the stars nor the organizers.

If we are all being honest it is always nice to see our favorites, or those we like, be given an award even when we know all the facts I mentioned above. I think it’s just a fan’s excitement of seeing our favorite getting picked even in a messed up system 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Having said all of that, the criticism and observations about Filmfare this year was kind of shocking and even embarrassing for them, mainly thanks to Alia’s win. Whether the organizers or specific stars will make different decisions next year remains to be seen. Alia hasn’t won the last two awards and she was still there at Zee awards. So her PR is obviously reacting and working on fixing things.

I don't have - until now - any information about the "Reel Awards" (to be more precise, the "Showsha Reel Awards" given by the media channel CNN-News 18, the former CNN-IBN - with Mukesh Ambani (Reliance) having the major part in it)

never heard either seems they replaced screen n entertainment one.

neither Alia nor the Kapoor lad won in other awards shows. Though Alia did show up to Zee.

As I already wrote: except Filmfare, ZeeCine and IIFA old award celebrations vanished, new had been proclaimed and also vanished...sometimes only the name changed...since 2015, I lost interest almost completely.

Without SRK's successfull movies last year and the forum here, I would not follow any award celebration, not even the Oscars.

And I think that’s her PR clean up. Had the reaction to her Filmfare win not been what it was she would have “swept” all the awards.

The award show which gives award to my favorite is genuine, the one which doesn't is not genuine.

well Shraddha got one at some reels awards show 😂. Luckly, she didn’t had the known ones or she have some backlash too. Though I like her and even Alia but neither deserved to get them this year in comparison to Kiarra in my opinion. The only one sweeping them is Rani.
