I think the issue with Jatin is he doesn't have the build to look intimidating.

Also sudden switch, Veer went from the sanest character of Tmd to attempting murder and sexual assault.

Even Tushar isn't convincing as the good guy at all.

Jatin played a negative role even in Raja Betaa but here in TMD he is being overexpressive several times. He's good in many scenes but sometimes his acting does make us to laugh.

In Raja Beta, Jatin played Ajit's son.

Here, he is prospective SIL of Ajit, just don't know whether he will marry Seerat or Keerat. Both are rats so we need not change the ship name #Veerat.

Yes makes sense. Even I felt Tushar wasn't convincing as a good guy. It looks like he's trying too hard. But still not bad. Same goes for Jatin... But he is overdoing it at times.
