Anjali isn't racist. Considering everything those white overseers did to us in India and then probably still do to brown folks in UK, everything Anjali did and said was justified. That Spritely shoulda had someone spit in her coffee every morning.

I don't think what Anjali did was right. Prejudice and inability to take objective criticisms are not right. However, prejudice doesn't have the institutional backing of racism/casteism/sexism/religious bigotry and those should be distinguished as such.

anjali was such a hot bhabhi in that movie.

Instead in case of Naina Rahul and Pooja Rohan, it made more sense as both the couples were like childhood flames type thing. Nandini was the most spineless character, she claimed to love Rahul more than others, yet she silently let him leave instead of trying to convince Yash, she’s so spineless that she didn’t even inform her younger son about the older brother’s feud, instead dadi Nani had to chip in.

This movie is one of my favorites, I love it, and it was Kjo’s best work, I think no director or producer can manage to bring such a big cast together anymore, we had the best ones from each generation, and I’m glad that he made it before he started making movies for Alia

Rahul and Anjali worked only because of Kajol and SRK. Their chemistry and comic timing were great in this movie.
