I don't get why Rahul is hated so much. He was just an immature college going guy when Anjali fell for him. Yes he was insensitive when he laughed at her but till he saw Anjali getting affected, he never thought of Anjali being a sensitive person and he didn't know she was trying to change herself for him. He also went to her and apologized right away. He was heart broken when she left him. Even if he wasn't in love with her or didn't realise his love for her when they were in college, she was important to him and he has multiple times proven it. He searched for her and tired to contact her but Anjali is the one who cut all contacts with him. Also even if he went after the prettier one, he wasn't passing his time with Tina either. He married her and didn't get remarried till Anjali showed up. So he was very faithful towards Tina.

When he met Anjali after ages, he didn't fall for her simply because she changed her looks. She always meant a lot to him and he missed her immensely when they met again and he was unaware about her being engaged.

All these villanizing Rahul nowadays is so pointless. Aman might have be a good guy but he wasn't the guy for Anjali and she wasn't in love with him. No girl is suppose to choose a guy or fall in love with him simply because he is nice. Aman had more than enough time to make Anjali fall in love with him but he failed.

I don't know whether it's intentional or not but I could sense tension between them. Shahmeer was sitting so close to Nargis as if she was the one he's in love with
