The whole ceremony also had ulterior motives. I am sure the family is trying to ‘safeguard’ Aniruddh 🤣🤣. They see how he supports Jhanak and have many times echoed that Jhanak is possibly seducing him in different ways. Apart from getting fun at watching her suffer, Arshi and her gang also subconsciously (or not) wanted her to look married so that Ani sees that and creates distance, whether it’s out of modesty, self-respect or jealousy. Arshi can feel that Ani is drifting away and what else to stop a man by telling him that this woman is taken? Unfortunately, he is the husband in question so it’s just going to backfire…….

Hope really hope this doesn’t continue in the show it will be very difficult watching if they continue like that then again Shristi and Arshi are obsessed with Jhanak.I agree with you maybe this is the real reason she wants to leave. They are mentally harassing her.

Couldn't agree more on this. They all seem to be enjoying mistreating her and clearly obsessed with Jhanak. Like today, Ani was sitting there for tea and Arshi and her mum decided to bring up Jhanak's topic. Ani is clearly so frustrated by this. If Arshi wants Jhanak to be out of Ani's mind she's certainly going about it the wrong way.

Part of her I feel is immensely attached, affectionate and grateful to Ani for saving her life, but the constant attacks by his family members on her self-respect and dignity which she considers her greatest asset is only because of him in the first place. So, she is also angry at him for creating this situation. But as a Neutral 3rd party it is annoying for us viewers.

Agreed. There is a bond and comfort between them for Jhanak to be able to say openly what she's thinking and feeling. And she's right, he's the only person in the house she can speak to openly because only he knows their truth. But when she does speak to him it just gives everyone else an opportunity to taunt her. I really do feel sorry for her and can understand why she feels so alone. It like being stuck between a rock and hard place, and that's why she wants ro escape.

Ani has been super supportive about helping her and thinking about her future. But he also needs to try understand the mental trauma shes going through right now.

By making her wear sindoor and talking about her husband's responsibility towards her 24/7 ,they are just reinforcing to Ani what his responsibilities are towards her smiley17

Exactly this! This can be seen in the fight after she gets back to Aniruddh's car after almost going back to Kashmir with Tejas. She says," If someone is in my position, they will see how much pain I feel". It is also honestly unrealistic of Ani to expect Jhanak to move on after her mother's death and be okay to start dancing again as if nothing happened and life still goes on. Jhanak doesn't have anyone besides her mother and so she can never understand how family always helps the person heal from the death of a loved one. Jhanak never got to experience any healing and with all the constant kidnapping, chasing, shotgun wedding, moving to an unfamiliar and new place and added daily dose of humiliation, it is only through the nature of her character she is able to remain sane at all! Anyone else in her place would have left within the first couple of weeks. Thankfully, Appu and her parents are good souls and do help her feel like she can try to survive and heal and live life at least for her dead mother. I am at least happy that Ani till now has not been a typical Gul type "angry young man" who will honestly be a pain to deal with. He's being patient in handling probably Jhanak because he feels protective over her and being the nurturing guy he is, doesn't mind letting Jhanak vent out now and then.

As for someone's question that she could have gone elsewhere and not Kashmir, i think that Jhanak just wanted to feel something familiar like her mom where she lived with her mother as she felt like her reality was totally changed and she needed some straws to gasp. Maybe I am wrong too!

Wow Anshu what a detailed ananylsis and clarity j your writing. 💯 agree with each and every sentence you have written. Nice perspective given by you. I was also and avid viewer and of Imlie season 1 and loved Adile to the moon. When Gash left the show, I got deattached and stopped watching Hindi shows for more than a year before I started watching Faltu. For me Imlie Season 1 is the show of all seasons .

Yeah, Gash and Sumbul made it magical. He made me want to root for Adi despite being a bigamist lol! He was such a morally gray character who was still worth admiring. pre–Aryan Imlie was too good with her determination in her beliefs and principles! Not to fan flames here, but I will still say Aditya Imlie was the best pair out of all pairs to come in that series including the present one. I loved them to the moon too! which is why it is still hard for me to go back and watch the golden Pagdandiya track. Too good and heartbreaking at the same time as to how they did Adi dirty (even with the new guy, I am sure he would have done justice to the role given time and not made negative)

And then Faltu came which also got screwed into oblivion with PH channel politics. What is with SP screwing over good plotlines with their greed to be the slot leader? they destroy everything they touch. Hopefully Jhanak's PH has enough power and prestige to stand their ground without comprising the story quality!

I agree. There is no logic behind investing so many years in a relationship when the other person has failed

Out of love. Falling out of love is not a sin to be loathed against.
