Agreed. There is a bond and comfort between them for Jhanak to be able to say openly what she's thinking and feeling. And she's right, he's the only person in the house she can speak to openly because only he knows their truth. But when she does speak to him it just gives everyone else an opportunity to taunt her. I really do feel sorry for her and can understand why she feels so alone. It like being stuck between a rock and hard place, and that's why she wants ro escape.
Ani has been super supportive about helping her and thinking about her future. But he also needs to try understand the mental trauma shes going through right now.
Exactly this! This can be seen in the fight after she gets back to Aniruddh's car after almost going back to Kashmir with Tejas. She says," If someone is in my position, they will see how much pain I feel". It is also honestly unrealistic of Ani to expect Jhanak to move on after her mother's death and be okay to start dancing again as if nothing happened and life still goes on. Jhanak doesn't have anyone besides her mother and so she can never understand how family always helps the person heal from the death of a loved one. Jhanak never got to experience any healing and with all the constant kidnapping, chasing, shotgun wedding, moving to an unfamiliar and new place and added daily dose of humiliation, it is only through the nature of her character she is able to remain sane at all! Anyone else in her place would have left within the first couple of weeks. Thankfully, Appu and her parents are good souls and do help her feel like she can try to survive and heal and live life at least for her dead mother. I am at least happy that Ani till now has not been a typical Gul type "angry young man" who will honestly be a pain to deal with. He's being patient in handling probably Jhanak because he feels protective over her and being the nurturing guy he is, doesn't mind letting Jhanak vent out now and then.
As for someone's question that she could have gone elsewhere and not Kashmir, i think that Jhanak just wanted to feel something familiar like her mom where she lived with her mother as she felt like her reality was totally changed and she needed some straws to gasp. Maybe I am wrong too!
