For the most part, Sunday's episode was incredible. No bad performances, good judging, some good jokes, nothing overboard. Exactly how an audition episode should be.

Muskan was pristine. Tremendous in every way. She has a background story that will connect with people too, so she can go all the way to the finale if it all goes well for her.

Adhya sounded just like a younger Rekha Bhardwaj. She is excellent and can also go far.

Pawan is already my favorite person in Indian Idol history to have Pawan in their name. I want him to win it all, but as long as he's top 10 I'll be happy.

Shivani was okay, but she definitely has skills. I've heard Mastakalandar countless times from better singers, but you can't deny that she has tools to become pretty good one day. A little bit of refinement with her voice could do her wonders.

Dhroon was fine. He can sing but he got vastly outshone by some of the others.

Aafaq did good has potential to go pretty far I think. Not as far as Muskan, Adhya or Pawan, but still far enough.

Aahana should come back in a year or two. Like the judges said, she has something but needs seasoning and practice. At least she has a lifetime memory of singing with Kumar Sanu.

Shivam is a singing god and we don't deserve him.

The closing montage of performances was a good way to wrap things up.

DId I mention I love this judge trio? Kumar Sanu's presence is always great and I still enjoy his humor all these years. You can tell how much Shreya and Vishal idolize him. Shreya is the perfect female judge for these kind of shows (only behind Alka for me but not my much.) Vishal seems so much looser and relaxed with these two and it makes for such a great vibe.

9/10 episode I think. This season is only 2 episodes in and I love it already. I hope it stays this good.

Albert I agree, but SRGMP needs him. He's one of the few people that keeps this season somewhat watchable. Sana can stay there though. My watch group doesn't for her at all.

I'm going to be so disappointed if Menuka doesn't make it to Top 15. What wonders this girl will create if she stays in the competition and learn more and get trained by the best. Her voice is magical!

The 2 episodes so far have increased a lot of expectations of good singing with less drama..

They even gave 1-2 min clips to those singers who were good and got selected... Unlike SRGMP where faltu ka audience was staged as contestants while they had to take already performed contestants from other shows...

Indian Idol will go so so far from SRGMP

And yes, judges, host everything seems so good this time in Indian Idol ❤️🤞
