First crying session already done tonight But I thought it was legit because even I was moist eyed by the end of Menuka's performance. ♥️

A good start to the season. Almost all of them were promising judging from their performances. My favorite were the first bengali guy (forgot his name), Anjana and Menuka. The three performances stole my heart. The bengali guy was so so good! His voice is deep and masculine yet has that calmness that you don't usually find in such masculine voices, especially when they do classical. The finesse in his voice was amazing. Anjana has turned to be such a beautiful singer, what voice modulation and confidence in choosing a song like Udi Udi for audition round. I'm so happy she took her time and trained even more before participating in any reality show as an adult. Have already said whatever I had to about Menuka in the previous post, uff she was so good.

Vaibhav and the guy from Arunachal who sang Sukoon Mila were promising too. I couldn't warm up to either the other guy who sang Sham or Mismi. I felt she was putting in a lot of effort in pulling off the song and that effortlessness was missing. Anyhow a good start to the season. I'm actually happy that they have mostly chosen fresh talent this time so the scope of learning and improving is even more than calling trained reality show contestants since that was the point of these reality shows.

That north eastern guy had such soothing voice and made it like a casual mehfil singing songs softly, it was a mood man hill people have their quiet charm. It was lovely to hear

Great start to the season. Good mix of the contestants.

My favourite audition performances from the episode - Obom, Anjana & Menuka.

Obom's promo was my most favourite and now his performance too. What a soulful voice! And his original composition, just loved it. I hope he's in Top 15.

Menuka, when she came I thought will just sing nicely and there will be some talks about her backstory and struggle but when she started singing, I was surprised. That was a proper audition and definitely deserved the golden mike. And the way she confidently sang Mohe Rang Do Laal with Shreya. Looking forward to her next performance.

Anjana performed amazingly well, she has such a beautiful voice texture. And I feel she can be the versatile singer of the season.

Vaibhav too seems promising. Dipan & Mismi look technically very strong.

So total 7 auditions were shown today and 4 of them got golden mike.

Compared to last few seasons, the focus on contestant's background story was less. And there were no time pass comic auditions.

Exactly that was the best part of Menuka's performance- neither did she or the judges play any sympathy card nor go to her backstory, she was so jovial and casual. I seriously wasn't ready about her Mohe Rang Do Laal right after O Palan Hare!

Thanks for the tag. Hope this season NO sob stories, drama etc. Then this season will be the one to remember as a game changer in reality shows and lesson to be learnt for other shows.

Does she lives in India because she is from

Nepal and was contestant of Nepal Idol season 1 and I think she came to Saregamapa 2019 and got into top 15 and got eliminated after some time. Is she participating like Samarpan having Adhar card of India.
