Haven't watched Idol in a very long time, but I might tune in now that Shreya is back as a judge. I literally found out yesterday that a new season is coming and that too with Shreya Ghoshal!!! 2013 nostalgia's hitting hard!

Will probably catch up with the show once finalists are selected and actual competition starts after auditions.

But quite disappointed that so many faces are coming again and again. It feels like the same winners, runner-ups, and finalists from previous shows (SRGMP, II and II Junior, Voice, etc.) are being recycled on newer shows. Anjana and Mismi are back; I've seen Nishtha and Ronita on SRGMP who have been finalists on multiple previous shows too...

Don't know yet if I'll tune in or not for full episodes, but it would be a pleasure to watch clips of Shreya and Kumar Sanu singing!!

Watching the episode now I'm so glad to see Anjana back! and the fact that she got to come back with Shreya judging her again what a full-circle moment I wish that Sana in SRGMP was in Idol i feel like she would've made a better fit here but oh well. I truly hope that with Shreya and Sanu da they don't do the same thing they're doing in SRGMP and seasons past where they praise all the contestants like they're the best since sliced bread I hope they give valid criticisms like they did in Junior, Vishal was good about that but lately he's been meh hopefully with Shreya and Kumar Sanu it'll be better.

Menuka was absolutely amazing I cried along with the judges it was so beautiful I hope they don't use this as a sob story in the later episodes

Muskaan topped for me in the sun epi. That was a wonderful performance of Basera by Lataji.👍

Loved Adya’s Namak Ishq ka. Her tonal quality is so unique. A good find, Loved her a bit more when she asked Shreya to sing Banarasiya.. 😁💕💕.

Pawan & Afaq show good potential. Pawan fills the Sawai Bhatt slot.😊. Need to see how he will perform in other genres.

Shivani is good with a strong classical base, but with too many gamaks she couldn’t capture the soul of the song. It was like too much masala spoiling the dish. Her tonal quality will limit her choice of songs too.

Nice to see Dhroon, but he was pretty average.

Just when I thought they have done away with those supposedly funny , but obviously scripted auditions , comes this guy - the shy laughing buddha who can’t sing to save his lfe, 🙄😳.

Overall a nice episode. 👍

Is Pawan Nagar Renu Nagar's brother? I just checked his insta, probably I should not comment on someone's life condition but the story he told doesn't match with what you see on his insta feed. But very nice performance nonetheless, reminded me of Salman Ali at some places.

So, acc to insta his sob story is fake?🤔 Not surprised.
