We may have 5 ATG's in 2023. Is this the Greatest year in Bollywood?

This year has been crazy in terms of box office collections,so far this year we’ve had;

In January Pathaan came, SRK’s non holiday/festival release whichbroke all records and became ATG beating Dangal.

In August came Gadar 2, Sunny’s sequel to the blockbusterGadar in 2001. This film exceeded all expectations at the box office in despiteof a clash with Akki’s OMG2. Sensational.

In September came SRK’s Jawan, this is a complete tsunami atthe box office, SRK giving back to back ATTB and ATG’s in the space of 9months. Never been seen before. SRK’s will reclaim the ATG tag with Jawan inthe next week or so.

November comes Tiger 3. The YRF spy universe. Coming off ofthe back of the mega success of Pathaan. It will also have a cameo of SRK asPathaan, it’s a solo Diwali release and Salman Khan is back as the legendry Tiger.This one will certainly will go on to become the all-time highest grosser. No doubt about it.

Then comes Dunki – SRK’s with blockbuster director Raj Kumar Hirani. This combo will definitely set the box office on fire. I feel this maynot start as fast as Pathaan and Jawan but in the long run it will go on tobeat all previous net collections and become the all-time highest grosser. SRKgiving 3 ATG and back to back ATTB will be a record for many more years tocome.

So we’re certain to have 3. but we can potentially have 5 all-time grossers this year. That hasn’t ever happened before and probably won’t everhappen again.

Is 2023 the greatest year in Bollywood history?
