How come they have a concept of MG in a stunt based show?? Do contestants pay money or give discounts from their fees for MG?

Its confusing ..i remember watching earlier KKK in which miland soman was eliminated on the first day of task..May be he was given a wild card chance with all vote out contestants later on...and it was fair as per game aspect..so those days they didnt have this MG concept ..or was it added later on...🙄.. the game lost its magic now as win and lose are manipulated based on MG
