I'm shocked at the constant abuse Abhir suffers at his mother and her family's hands. It's just odd to me because it's the first time seeing a female lead shown this way. Normally, it's the vamp of the show that emotionally tortures children regularly.

Makers exhausted whatever little substance they had with the children. So, it's not like Abhir will care or be hurt by whatever she does to him. Similar to Abhi's reactions to her verbal abuse he accepts whatever she says and does with a smile. Both real father and son are stuck in endless cycle of verbal, emotional, and physical abuse, but it's ITV so they will be a happy family with their tormentor in couple of months lol.

Agree! no one cares for that kid much in that family including mahaan mata Ak. Still, this kid wants to dump Abhi and stick to them. he become more insensitive these days. literally they are showing 0 bonding Abhi and Abhir now!
