Don’t think that’s true. Ak replaced Abhi as a father the very day that Abhir was born. Abhimanyu got engaged to Arohi much later under a lot of pressure. By then Ak had already spent 6 years propping up Nav as the father. So this had nothing to do with Arohi. Ak took those rights away from Abhi way back.

She spent 6 years already playing wife to Nav....even if it was namesake, she was quite happy to show off her Mrs. Sharma identity even when Abhi came to Kasauli for dinner.....there was no engagement with Arohi that compelled her to do anything. She did it all out of her own need to spite Abhi and hurt him. There was never any point where she said she is moving forward with Nav cuz Abhi is engaged to Arohi.....lol she doesn't get to use that excuse retroactively now😆

I believe this is what pushed her into accepting Nav as real husband. I don't mention the father exchange thing because that's moot. Doing it in initial anger and pain I could understand, but doing it when Abhimanyu was dying and beyond, I have no pity also for her.

She has enough truckloads of self-pity for herself so I guess she doesn't need our pity anyways😆

I still don't think her accepting Nav as husband had anything to do with Arohi.....she literally used every opportunity when Abhi even apologized to her to slam him and his existence on every level. She wasn't even shamefaced when he found out Abhir's truth, expressed his anguish.....even then she was heartless enough to basically say to him, "You deserve to never be a father to your son" and "I'M the real victim"😆.

From what I saw of the mandir confrontation when she rejected Abhimanyu, she mainly did that to get even with him for having abandoned her in a weak moment.....and only after thoroughly trashing him and his love once again by claiming he never loved or respected her (which is just totally false) did she go running to hug Nav😆......after that she just ran with her fantasies every chance she got and just kept doubling down on how her Sharma family is perfect cuz she says so😆

There was never even a token FB of her thinking of Abhi-Arohi's engagement in all this....she only decided to move forward with Nav after he was trying to back off after seeing how she'd run to Abhi when he had the accident. There was a whole phase where she used to panic seeing Nav's insecurities that if he leaves them, how will her perfect Sharma family survive😆.....this has all been in pure self-interest to keep her selfish fantasies going. She hasn't cared at what cost any of this came....

Ethics have never been a factor for Akshara anyways....lol I mean the woman who doesn't even feel a token pang for a father's pain after he is openly pining for his son....no matter what grudges you have in life, to not even have the humanity to feel someone's pain in that moment....shows how low you've fallen as a human being.....but hey, that's the "heroine" of our story, so what to say😆

Akshara convinced(not debatable) as the scene was Neil wahan mujhe hona chahiye tha please chalo hume unhe bachana hoga, as soon as they reached she tried to go out so Neil intervene and asked her to stay while he stupidly decided to fight that caused his death.

I am an occasional drinker and my friends too do ask me of plans it's upto me how much I wanna drink. It will be my responsibility to make sure i take a cab instead of driving to the venue and probably will then have to drink and drive that could be dangerous. Will it be my friends fault if one day I drink too much and be like gaadi tera bhai chalayega and met with an accident.

The whole scenario is so stupid. It feels like more than loosing a family member Akshara and Goenkas are interested in taking revenge for god knows what with AbhiM. Akshara for rejecting her maybe and Goenkas for till date not marrying their precious daughter Aaro.

Even Neil died for a good cause and never get glorified.

But Nav, always and at the cost of all the characters. I never felt any good bonding of Nav with Ak or Abhir or doing something OOB for them. except madam telling about toofan ki rath.

but writers glorified him like a god.
