Someone who cheated on you twice, then begged you to take him back, but you refused, then kept him around to promote your own career.

Not something I would personally do. But Deepika uses everything and everyone to promote her own career. How can anyone possibly find it romantic?

if Deepika wanted RK, she would've taken him back after the 2nd time. She didn't. And it's very clear how her PR starts the nauseating rumors each time she has a release.

my heart was pouring for deepu until she showed up on snake Kjo show and shed buckets and that too with sonam. that was freaking annoying man.

She is a self promoter no question. Fact still remains if she wanted RK, she would've taken him back after he begged her.

She's deffo calmer when she is with Ranveer. That's actually quite obvious though OP chooses to believe giggliness is happiness. To me, a 30 plus woman behaving that way would be reason to question her sanity.

Maybe the change came from natural maturity from experience, maybe calmer because she feels settled with him.

Sridevi used to do that child woman pretense. Acting like she didn't even know what sex was 🤢

I don't think this can be compared because there are different ways in which you love different people. The dynamics themselves are different and so are the versions of you with time and experience (or lack of it).

Ranbir is someone she has history with. She was young, immature and it was exciting at that time. I think there is probably a part of her that misses who she was when she was with Ranbir, the innocence and blissfully inexperienced version of herself (or should I say yeh jawaani hai deewani xD), not Ranbir himself. That version of Deepu probably didn't think they'd break-up or he'd cheat on her.

Even though she's now grown up, disillusioned, more aware, and 'giggles' less that doesn't mean she loves Ranveer less. On the contrary, to me, it's seemingly clear that things are actually stable, not blurry and actually 'peaceful' between them, which is what was the best for her general sanity. Even though they love each other, there's visibly a deep friendship, complicity and intimacy that's been woven through the discovery and respect of each other's most vulnerable sides. It takes time to make peace with the good, bad and the ugly when you're committed to someone. I feel that with Ranveer, she got the space to truly be herself (her clumsiest, most authentic self, like she says) because efforts are reciprocated, he's so emotionally available, receptive and in love with her.

On the other hand, I don't think Ranbir was even open to her vulnerabilities or cared lmao? She probably wanted that stability with him at the core but I bet they both barely even scratched the surface of each other by the time he cheated on her. The unattainable 'crush' kind of euphoria may momentarily be enticing, but the complicity, what she has with Ranveer, is the one that will ultimately work in the long run.

So Deepika actually dodged a bullet when she broke up with RK.

Alia seems to be more breezy and 'detached', if that makes sense? So she and Ranbir might actually work.

BUT Ranbir looks happy with nobody. 😭

If people can't see how happy deepika is with ranveer then I dont know what to say, she is so obviously happy and in love with ranveer, people need to move on from the past and move on from this rk thing.

Even recently she was there to support ranveer at the Manish malhotra fashion show, she went with him to watch rrkpk, to celebrate 10 years of Chennai Express she posted a video with ranveer.

With rk the smile is put on and fake, she wants people to believe that they are great friends, when in reality they hardly even talk to each other. Her and rk know there are people who like their onscreen jodi and so to appeal to them they do things to make people continue liking their onscreen jodi. Its like varun and alia who do things to appeal to their fans.

She posted this beautiful qoute recently and tagged ranveer, this shows how much she loves him. This quote shows that she is with the right person, her love, her best friend, someone who completely accepts and loves her and does not judge her.

She even recently replied to his comment about her performance as Meenamma.

Some of you and your wild and childlike fantasies of lost love and soulmates is both hilarious and disturbing. “You know she was and still loves RK deeply and she doesn’t care for her husband” “She was happier with RK than she’s with Ranveer” so many people behaving like freaking teenagers dealing with raging hormones for the first time. Grow the fcuk up and stop projecting your childish fantasies on other people’s relationships. There are plenty of movies out there to watch where a woman worships and stays in love with someone who’s treated them badly and cheated on them time and again go satisfy your weird desires with those films and leave people alone. This entitlement people have about celebrities and think it’s ok to go around and speculate and at times present their own opinions as the absolute truth is neither edgy nor cute its quite disturbing. Just because they’re public figures doesn’t mean you can get all creepy and weird about other people’s personal lives. Where’s the basic respect and boundaries??
