Nope.. too much depth for some (not you again, but general some).

@red- No you should wish Abhimanyu-Akshara's love story and marriage for your enemy. There cannot be a bigger punishment than that.

All three leads of this generation have had trauma - and I don’t think its wise to start a comparison of whose trauma is greater - everyone’s tolerance and ability to deal with it is different.

Acting out because of one’s trauma - wasn’t right when Arohi did it, wasn’t right when Abhimanyu did and its also not right when Akshara does it. It can be understandable to some extent that why they behaved so, but it’s definitely not okay! So if she is unable to seek help or confide about her past in the best husband to start healing - I fail to see the “blissful” life of 6 years!

Different people use different mechanism to cope. Abhimanyu chose anger, Aarohi chose blame and Akshara chose to shut in her feelings. She did open up to Abhinav about many things though. Trauma doesn't wotk in a straightforward way. It is complicated and twisted. And itv shows are too shallow to handle it carefully. Even then, this show managed to shed light on some aspects of it. Also when did I compare anyone’s trauma. I was simply pointing out how conveniently people forget many aspects of Akshara's past to term her life in Kasauli as fake.

Si true...her anger, frustration is still there

Kaheka blissful life... Abhinav was Akshara's sahara not her life...orgerwise she coukd have forgotten about her past...which resurfaces whenever she wants

@bold - I agree. And Akshara’s trauma hasn’t even been shown properly except when she was leaving Udaipur and a few flashbacks of her pregnancy. But her outbursts have been many and there haven’t been any scenes of her thinking out loud or talking about it for me to connect with it. Abhinav and Abhimanyu have had much better executed breakdowns for the most part.

You didn’t compare but it was implied - WD was traumatic for Abhimanyu too - his behavior because of that trauma is not acceptable but it doesn’t negate his trauma! Also, we view Akshara’s past quite differently. I don’t see Abhimanyu’s as toxic - I feel both were incompatible and couldn’t work it out. Its not necessary that a marriage between two people will be successful because they are individually good. They have to be good as a team and these two were a team only on few occasions but didn’t really function as one unit. Even as a parent - he works better with Arohi.

Abhinav-Akshara could have had an amazing love story(like Abhinav told Muskan initially that he can’t provide a grand love story) if they showed him taking an interest to understand her past and her relations with her family or why she requested to hide the truth rather than simply accepting her decisions - and Akshara opening up to her only friend/confidante at last - and many of us not disliking the FL. But the progression in their story brought about suddenly along with Abhinav’s insecurities- just left a bad taste. I do like Abhimanyu’s character a bit more amongst the leads but even if I push that aside, the story and its execution has failed to set the narrative that makers intended!

I find her 6 years...more like hiding self from the world

Nothing more

Let's end this discussion here. The original post was supposed to mean something else entirely and you are going in another direction altogether. Not interested in this discussion at all.

Sorry didn’t intend to deviate but did in flow of things. Coming back I would just say that it’s difficult to accept that Kasauli was blissful for Akshara since she has not really healed from her past and needs to stay in that small Kasauli world to feel at ease! It was blissful for Abhir and Abhinav - no doubt but I can’t say that for her.

I will request you to write this sentence to the producer so that he can alter the direction of the story. He is killing Nav as he thinks that Abhira fanbase will keep his show alive. But if you r taking soul away from AK I do not understand how can Abhira be build up. Are you also expecting TRPs to drop when they show intense love or do you still plan to watch intense love between soulless partners ( correction soul-soulless human)?

I am not and never have been Abhira supporter. I only like Abhimanyu and the kids and sometimes Abhinav. I only want to see him happy and bond with his kids. Love and marriages are a joke on ITV with separations, blames, divorce, lack of trust and I have no expectations that the track around it will be any good just like how its been so far! Maybe someone from Abhira fanbase can help you.
