Her words were, " you will never understand my fears," and his words were," and you will never understand my pain."
I have been saying this from the beginning. Ak is an empath who understands everyone's pain and feelings.....except for Abhi. From the beginning, she has refused to look at how he feels even though it is extremely obvious to everyone else. She treats him especially like dirt most of the time, and in the past few months, that has become a constant thing with her. He destroyed her life, was the worst person ever to her, etc. I get that she hates him for all of this. But constantly taunting and hurting someone, I don't understand that, and that is what she has been doing.
So I feel like both of their comments were entirely valid. Ak's fears are valid cause Birla's house is a toxic mess. But there is no reason for her to say mean and hurtful things to Abhi that have no connection to this. She can tell him the real issue is that his mom did this, and birla house is toxic etc. She can try to find a solution here, but all she wants to do at this point is guilt Abhi into giving Abhir back.
Also, winning custody doesn't magically heal Abhi's trauma any more than having her perfect family did for Ak. Both of their pain still exists and still needs to be resolved. Abhi didn't want this situation that exists right now. No one would want this, but he is trying to remain positive and not blaming people constantly for his situation - that doesn't mean he has no pain.
