I just finished it. It's an uplifting journey of 2 girl best friends joining the Indian Navy. Way ahead of its time. Too bad it was just 13 episodes long.

There was also Hello Dollie on Star Plus along with Son Pari, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Just Mohabbat, Tu Tu Main Main, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Shriman Shrimati, Office Office, Yes Boss, Hum Saath Aath, Hain, Hum Sab Ek Hain, Kya Baat Hai... Such amazing family shows back then.

OH MAN this thread is making me nostalgic.

Agreeeee! There was so much variety of content back then and the family shows were so much fun.

Even today, they continue to be so relatable and relevant.

How is it that we're progressing backwards? It's not like there is a dearth of writers in India, then WHY?!

They made Chhoona Hai Aasmaan on Star One which I absolutely loved too also, because I loooveee Iqbal Khan but I couldn't finish the show after Iqbal left. The actor who replaced Iqbal was horrible.😳

I watched Byomkesh Bakshi twice in the lockdown and it is one of my most favourite vintage shows 👍🏼 . The show is lit, i liked everything about it ⭐️.

Watching vintage shows is like time travel to a time before us 😎.
