I personally found the movie weird. An there's a confrontation scene where Shradda is crying and it looks as if snot is running down her nose

The migraine inducing acting in the trailer was enough for me 😆
It needs to have a story to make sense
It was zabardasti ki comedy with a zabardasti ka twist to bring on zabardasti ke tears
I'm glad that you made this topic, as I didnt have time to review it.
I hate the thing she does when she is calling him over and the thing he does as he is being pulled over.
I didn't like the concept of the full on relationship they showed. There is nothing cultural nowadays.
I hate how she just had a stupid reason for a break up.
I hate how they all begged at her feet in the end. Why is feminism gone this extreme in movies to show the whole family has to go beg her, when their intentions were never wrong.
I found the airport scenes funny where they are blaming each other.
And I like the happy family ending scenes.
Most Indian girls in the west would not be ok with having the guy's entire family around 24-7. That does not mean they are selfish and want the man to themselves. It just means they need privacy and space from an entire group of people. The same way a girl leaves her family behind and she does not totally stop interacting with them. The man can do the same. Ranbir's family in the film was cute. But probably most girls would be in Shraddha's character's position.
You can very much stay in touch with your family and be under a different roof. Spend quality time with you wife and kids. And take out a slotted amount of time to spend with you parents and relatives. A proper compromise would have been them building a separate flat upstairs or moving next door. But no as most movies of the director the girl had to be shown wrong.
And Shraddha and Ranbir were both bad. IMO!

The only thing that didn't make sense is her not addressing this with him because she was scared of heartbreak? She was afraid he would chose his family over her. (Which he did.) But she was ok with triggering him to break up with her anyway for a completely different reason. Was that not heartbreak too?
Maha pakau movie!
Ranbir was looking like a misfit because the story was written for Karthik and our nepo baby as usual jumped on the ship kicking Karthik to the curb ,just because he wanted a movie with the successful Luv Ranjan.

Ikr. That's the problem with Ranbhirs films. They are on another level. Am I too old school for them? Or are they just what the nonsense?
