Bhaiji is talking to Anusuya, saying that D-T milan cannot be allowed to happen, otherwise it will bring about destruction.
Dhruv (in a pink shirt btw) is monitoring his uncle-father and apologises for being away. Sukankya is also there, and asks if he feels bad about the Maharaj's announcement. Sukanya says she feels he should've been married to Tara, and Dhruv says that T's marriage will not happen with Senapati, but with him. Sukanya tells he has her full support, and Bhaiji enters.
Bhaiji tries to convince Dhruv to go back. Says you've done lot of upkaar on us- please do one more and go back to your time. Dhruv gets frustrated as he realises Bhaiji is against the marriage too, and accuses him of getting his sister married to an unsuitable person like Senapati. Bhaiji says he didn't say Taru will get married to Senapati, but also says he won't allow D-T union. Dhruv says I'll fight against everyone, be it Maharaj, Senapati, Time, Destiny or you.
Tara is crying in front of Anusuya, saying that Chikitsak left last night.
In the court, in front of the Maharaj, Senapati shows jewels that have come from different places and asks Tara to choose what she likes. A lifeless looking Tara says that she cannot choose what she likes, and when asked by the Senapati of the meaning, covers up by saying her father's choice is her choice.
Dhruv enters at that moment, and Tara is surprised, wondering if he had a death wish. Whenever Dhruv wants to speaks though, Tara interjects and speaks on his behalf- she tells he wants to leave Vallabhgarh, and kept silent on the day of the announcement so as to not insult the King. Dhruv tells that Tara is khaas for him, and when Senapati questions, Tara replies that she is important as a student. Maharaj gives Dhruv the permission to leave, saying he understands the importance of family because he was himself away from his own family for a long time.
Tara wonders why Dhruv hasn't left yet, and says his life will be forfeit if Senapati or her father put two and two together. Dhruv drags her into a room and hugs her. Tara is happy in it, then suddenly realises where she is, and pushes him away. He then says it's his 21st century Zidd against her 17th century vachan. He cups her face, and they come close (nose to nose) when the mirror in the room breaks, and Senapati is present.
Precap- Dhruv tells that Tara is his. Senapati is mad and says his sword will now speak for him, and moves to hit Dhruv, but Tara comes in the middle. Senapati says he will kill Dhruv, but Tara says if anything happens to Dhruv, she will not remain alive either.
Dhruv's hand appears to be injured.
She tells Senapati that what he does with Dhruv, she will do with herself.
She hurts herself- slashes her hands 
, and tells Senapati
