Maya from Beyhad did worse, I rooted for her before I knew she was a killer. But I did not mind her killing her father and when she tried (or did she succeed) killing her mother. Only thing I really disliked about her was her obsession with her husband. I did not understand why she liked him and the actor was not good in acting either.
Pablo Escobar was a despicable human being (in real life and in the series), but the netflix series made me kind of root for him not to get caught by the police.
Both of them where played by really good actors.
Not only the writing, but also their acting made these character likable or sympathetic.
Haya has gotten so much screentime, so many lines, yet you feel nothing for her. I have never felt sorry for her. Not even when she tried to take her own life and everybody treated her as a nuisance. And that was before she did all of those things.
