Totally helps because he is real and is not a figment of anyone's imagination. I'll say this, that millions of people in the world believe in God and millions cannot be deceived or mistaken together. Neither can millions be schizophrenic or hallucinating. There's some truth to this.

God, who is also the creator of this universe and all mankind has put a knowing in our hearts that he exists.

You'll have to seek him out and he'll reveal his presence to you. "Seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened, ask and it shall be given".

No harm goes in asking him if he's for real.

When it comes to does faith in God help? Absolutely. In any and every single way.

Yes it does. You can't question faith, one either has it or does not have.

God gives guidance, ability to differentiate between right and wrong, hope, strength, courage, peace, belief that good will win, reward for good deeds and punishment for bad deeds. This helps a person psychologically as wrong is punished and good is rewarded. Further hope helps in enduring hard times and inner strength to bear it through.

Yes god helped n saved me many times .

I'm a religious person and have gotten more religious since the past 10 years. I do like to believe that there is a God out there looking out for me, taking care of me, and will never leave me alone. Not all my prayers get answered, but that doesn't affect my faith at all because I believe He has a better plan for me and can make better decisions for me than I do. I have been miraculously saved from dangerous incidents many times.

Belief in God is like activating placebo effect..even if the supreme being doesnt have time to take care of every human, just pure faith and belief that God is there to take care of us, gives us strength in the most difficult times of our life and gets us out of the misery, pain and negativity. I don’t believe in supreme creator (I believe the world always existed and will always exist) but I do believe in Moksh or Nirvana and karmic theory and that some divine beings do come to this earth to guide us on how to attain Moksh....we all have to ultimately aim for end of birth and death cycle. Karma is the most important..so good, be good, you get good…and vice versa..I have seen karmic theory working for real..a small act of kindness brings you back 10 folds of everything ..and an act with malafide intentions does come back to haunt that person..one way or the other..so atleast someone out there is keeping a register of all our good deeds and bad deeds.
