Has there ever been a situation in your life where you thought or felt, only God or divine power saved or helped you?

Do you think this saying is true, 'jiska koi nahi hota uska bhagwan hota hai'?

Do prayers come true? Does faith in God help, change situation?

Have you ever experienced a miracle or some divine intervention in real life that made you believe a higher power helped you?

Does faith in God or Divine power help cope better? Give more peace?

Or is it all for good literature and preaching but not so in real life?

I am asking in GENERAL so please do NOT link it to any specific religion or deities or gods. Just asking your personal experiences about whether you believe in a higher power or not or felt its presence or help or not?

I can see why the idea of a higher being beyond comprehension and reason appeals to people and provides some meaning to an otherwise meaningless existence. But I could neve do it.

Ofcourse it helped me alot. I've gotten most of the things I wished/prayed for, Alhamdullilah. The thing is believe. I believe in Him so much and am totally grateful for how much He has given to me. If you are good to people I believe God will return the good to you. He is very merciful than you think.

It helps me.

I don't think I want to live in a world, an existence...where there is no god.

Yes you need God in every step of your life.. Only God is capable of helping you.. if you expects from others then that others are also depending on Him.. look at babies, if God did not inspire them, teach them to swallow the milk, who will? Look at an alzhemier patient, they don't even know how to swallow their own saliva, this are one sign of God, if He takes away the knowledge that He bestowed on you, you wouldn't even know how to do anything... that's how helpless you can be... Countless of other signs exist on earth and yourself... That is depending on Him

Everything He provides in proper measure, a bit your earth far or near sun, you won't even survive..

There was a time I believed and actually quoted exact things mentioned above, but not anymore. Unlearning the concept of god gave me peace and happiness. As a former theist also surrounded by believers, I understand why people stay believers.

Of all the creatures on Earth, of all the infinite galaxies in the ever-expanding universe - why would a higher power be even remotely interested in the shit that happens to one person of one species on one planet? Seems quite illogical and, quite frankly, egotistical to me. We humans really have a huge ego that the universe gives a shit about us. We could go extinct, and the cosmos wouldn't care.

It's all random probability. Good things mean the die rolled in your favor. Bad things mean the die rolled against you.

That is what I prefer to say, "May the odds be ever in your favor" than "God Bless You."

Yes. I believe very firmly that there is a higher power we call God. Infact the goal of human life is to erase the 'I' and unite with that higher power.

It is even more absurd to think that human being should be left to live an irresponsible and non accountable life after he had been given the faculties of thinking, reasoning, judgement between right and wrong, conscience, such mental powers which is not given to animals .. that means our intellect that we posses should basically tell us that evil and good are alike and both will meet the same fate and end up in dust... 😆
