They couldnt otherwise the story would not have had the same impact as it did. The story wanted to show that she stayed with her husband and was satisfied as she had Allah with her, and she didnt need or crave any humanly love

I know you have told me concept of this drama, some years back too.

Still i would say I did not like the ending, she could have stayed alone after taking divorce from mikaal's character and still be satisfied.

No doubt Allah is enough for us. They way He loves us, no one can.

He didn't stay grey for a long time in DEJ , but his act left a strong impact. I didn't watch Aks. Did his character redeemed in it too?

It's hard to explain. You don't get it because you haven't watched it.

She wouldve left him but the thing is he realized his mistake. He redeemed himself and apologised to her. He asked her for another chance. So she said if Allah can give a second chance to his humans, then main kaun hoti hoon? She forgave him and stayed with him for the sake of Allah. The only difference was that she didn't love and worship him like she did before. Her love was only for Alllah, hence she had no expectations from him.
